** 5 star AirBnB host since 2012.** My home is not for everyone & has limited availability.

The space
Dome Sweet Dome is fantastic and unique property in the heart of the Mojave Desert that backs up to Joshua Tree National Park. I run it the way AirBnB ran things in the early days - your reputation counts, prepare to tell me about yourself and your trip. Please complete your AirBnB profile before submitting a request.

The dome is an amazing space and everyone comments on the positive inspiring energy. Experience the desert as a futurist when you stay at my home.

Sleeps 6 comfortably with two full bathrooms, full kitchen, plenty of parking and expansive views of Joshua Tree National Park, the Sheep Hole Mountains and the Cleghorn Wilderness area - gorgeous backdrops for epic desert sunset sunsets.

The Master bedroom has a queen tempurpedic bed. It's an authentic tempurpedic mattress and if you've never slept on it, it is amazing. Regular and tempurpedic pillows available. There is a private master bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower.

The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is a daybed in the loft and a secret sleeping nook "behind the fireplace under the stairs".

The kitchen has a dishwasher, convection electric stove and is well stocked with cooking tools, pots, pans and dishes. You'll find various foodstuffs in the pantry and refrigerator.

The upstairs loft is a relaxed chill space with an orange leather couch, chair, and vintage pinball machine. Books, music, games, star projector and yoga mats. There is a great stereo system with audio jack to fill the dome with gorgeous sound, a TV with DVD player. The space is expansive, yet snug and cozy. Music fills the entire home when played up here. The acoustics are fantastic! It's like being in a cozy, safe ocean.

Furnace for winter when you need heat, high performance swamp cooler when it's hot. Dome Sweet Dome stays in the 70s whether it is 30 or 120 degrees outside. There is a charcoal BBQ outside, fire pit under the stars, and fire chimney - please bring your own charcoal and wood to burn. Photo ops by the classic Ford Anglia that was pulled out of the desert nearby.

Sit on the front bench out front and enjoy a glass of wine, while watching the sky change colors and the desert quail make their evening noises. Expect to hear the quail and coyote calls. Watch the flocks of desert doves, cottontail and jack rabbits.

Explore the Joshua Tree Art Scene, Art Queen, Hi-Desert Test Sites, Hiking, Rock-Climbing, nearby off-roading, or mine exploring. You won't want to miss a visit to sister dome - the Integratron in Landers.

If you need suggestions for exploring the area just let me know. I've been visiting/living in this area for 15+ years. I can suggest rock hounding areas, day trips, off-road areas and unique desert cultural art.

Near fee-free Joshua Tree National Park entrances (49 Palms Oasis & Indian Cove), 10 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree, 29 Palms and Marines Base. Walk out of the property and into the park. Enjoy the cool clean winds of the desert. Watch the amazing sunsets and moonrises. Spend your nights under the Milky Way.

Off the beaten path yet easy access for all vehicle types.

** There is a 3 night minimum for holidays. I try to reflect this in my calendar, but sometimes AirBnB changes features so frequently I don't. No parties, no porn, no film shoots without prior permission, no high maintenance city attitude.**

** Discounts available for return guests, Military, Burning Man and Ingress Resistance player lvl 8+. This is when I am not running a special rate.

** At least 5% of bookings are donated to the Mojave Desert Land Trust.

** Please complete a detailed profile before booking.

OG AirBnB superhost - since 2012. Hi. I'm a futurist. I research the future of money, currency, payments, transactions and sharing economy. I love Los Angeles and the Mojave desert. I often travel for work, to speak on the Future of Money, meet potential business partners, work with clients all over the world. I like the local experience. I'm quiet, good for conversation. Clean, love coffee and roadtrips. I like to explore and hear places I should check out. (I share the same information about my beloved LA.) I love Los Angeles like no other city. Los Angeles has a reputation that is often limited to the Hollywood industry. But scratch the surface and you'll learn there's more. You can experience any culture in this city. And there is of course the sun, the beach, the mountains and desert. When you stay at my places in Southern California, I want to share these things I love about LA and the Mojave Desert with you. I want you to experience the city, the desert the way I have. To return from where you came, changed, with memories and experiences unlike any other.
