The second-floor balcony of your two-level villa offers a breathtaking view of Souda Bay. When you're not admiring the scenery, you can lounge at the pool deck, take a dip in the pool, or unwind in your private hot tub in front of the bedroom. Make sure to take a look at the pool deck lounge area equipped with a TV and fire table.

You will be our only guests. The price includes the Climate Resilience Levy, which some places charge separately.

The space
Carbon-Neutral: we produce our own electricity with a 17.5kw solar power array. Your villa is located in one acre of landscaped gardens with exercise and relaxation amenities. In your bedroom, you'll find a four poster bed, a mini fridge with free water, tea and coffee makers, and a free washer and dryer for clothes. On the first floor is a complete kitchen with marble countertops and all utensils. There's a breakfast bar and lounge area with a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV. You have upstairs and downstairs balconies. Throughout the landscaped garden, internet connectivity is taken care of by Starlink. Large 8,000-liter water tanks on the property ensure uninterrupted water supply, and our solar array and battery provide sustainable energy to all electric devices, like the air conditioners.

You have your own private hot tub close to the bedroom, a private BBQ area with seating, and two balconies in your villa. Shared with us (but most likely not at the same time, unless you want us to) is a 50 m² swimming pool. The exercise area has a treadmill, reclining exercise bike, and a trampoline. There's also a table tennis pavillon and BB gun shooting range.

There are hammocks, a Hollywood swing, a fire table, and many private seating areas on the property, all with WiFi access.

A solar powered destination charger is available.

Neighborhood highlights

We live in a rural area between the villages of Kampia and Kokkino Chorio. Kokkino Chorio became famous as the place were the village scenes for the 1964 movie "Zorba, the Greek" with Anthony Quinn were filmed. This movie kicked of Cretan tourism in the 60's. There's a restaurant, a bistro and Jorgos' supermarket. Jorgos speaks good English.

A four minute drive brings you to Plaka, with 2 supermarkets, a cocktail bar and three (3!) restaurants.

Further down the road (another 4 minutes) is the nice beach at Almeryda, home to many and very good seaside restaurants. The food ranges from traditional Cretan cuisine, Pizza and a Sushi restaurant.
