Other Things to Note
★ About us:
We are a couple (French & Cook Islander/New Zealander). We're both easy-going with a sense of humour (including the 'French humour') and enjoy relaxing. We're both currently working so you will have privacy during your stay. We both are fluent in English & Pierre has some notions of Spanish and German.
Unfortunately we had some problems with early check ins and late check outs, so please understand we cannot offer those.
As a reminder, this is a listing for a private room with a real bed (as you will see on description), this means it is our spare bedroom we are offering to the guests and we share the rest of the apartment (including bathroom). We just wanted to point it out, as we've had some questions about this. If you need a place to yourself, why not click on our profile picture and scroll down to 'Listings' to see our self contained studio - Paris Central Love Nest.
Please no smoking in the room/flat - I am asthmatic. You can smoke in our lovely courtyard on a bench.
Please respect the apartment as you would expect us to respect you.
Do not to hesitate to ask us where's what, would you need to use the kitchen, or how to use the Espresso machine or dishwasher...
We usually go through the details for longer stay as we'll make room for you in the fridge and freezer of course. But I must say there are a lot of amazing places to eat out within less than 5 min walk (recommended price is usually EUR25 for a 3 course meal). Have a look at the selection we made for you on the guidebook.
Deposit is for the key, to make sure you won't lose it.
List of countries for free calls provided when you book and you are responsible for extra charges on phone bill.
Unfortunately, we do not allow early check ins or late check outs, as there's been some problems with that, but there are lockers in most of the train stations for your convenience.
If you have any questions or need further information, just flick us a message and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
Cheers, and bienvenue à Paris.

Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux ! L'appartement était très propre et correspondait à la description . Pierre répondait à toutes nos questions sur le quartier , parking , restaurants , etc. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir . Arnold .

Very friendly, clean, cozy room in a very good location in Paris. Highly recommended!
Pierre and Duncan were exceptional hosts. This was our first Airbnb experience and we were really happy with how comfortable they made us feel and how beautiful the room was. It's a great area to stay in that wasn't overwhelming with tourists and very close to transit and other great sites. Be sure to go to one of their restaurant recommendations! Each place was overwhelmingly friendly (to non French speakers) affordable and delicious.
Thank you, Pierre and Duncan, for welcoming me to your home, clean and neat apartment. Bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great! A metro line and a supermarket were only 2 munites walk away. Duncan gave me a tour around the neighborhood after my arrival. Pierre was so helpful by answering my questions and giving me tips. I had a wonderful experience in my first visit to Paris.
A great, cozy space. The apartment is close to transportation or walk if you really want to see Paris. Pierre & Duncan were great hosts, very friendly and offering suggestions on dining and nightlife. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
We really thanks Pierre and Duncan

About the Host, Pierre & Duncan
Been doing AirBNB since Feb 2013 and what I've seen so far I have loved! This is a great way to meet people and I can't wait to take my own trip using this site. It's certainly a good option if you're after something a little different during your holiday.
Enjoy your travels wherever they may take you and maybe we will see you some time.
