Guest access
Join us each day of your stay for a sanctuary tour to meet our residents (or offer up your time to help with feeding and chores).

In the evening, we can offer a campfire with a dusk-to-dark pasture view while our residents graze.

You can walk through the sanctuary grounds to observe the residents between 6 am and 11 pm. Please be mindful that the sanctuary is our resident’s forever home. They should be left undisturbed while you peacefully walk the grounds. Please refer to our rules which we strictly enforce.

Spend your time relaxing in the cottage, watching the sunset from the porch, or taking a stroll around the grounds' perimeter on our half-mile trail. Walk through the pines, take in a panoramic view of the pastures and barns, or take a moment to reflect in our memorial garden (you may even spot the local gnomes in the woods…). At dusk, the fence lines are lit by solar light to illuminate the trail and bring a warm glow into the night.

Other things to note
Please note we are a working farm home to formerly homeless, neglected and special needs farm animals. This is not a petting zoo, this is their home. Humans are invited to observe and interact with them under our supervision. Our residents and your safety is our main priority.

We are located within five miles of five state parks with hiking and river activities.
