Welcome to Bubble Retreats, a truly unforgettable escape perched high on a mountaintop with sweeping views of the rolling hills and ocean below. Our global award-winning stargazing bubbles are designed exclusively for couples seeking a peaceful and private sanctuary to reconnect with nature and each other.
Inside your bubble, you'll find a luxurious queen-size Koala bed with premium linens, perfectly positioned for panoramic stargazing. (Note: after many guest requests, we removed the four-poster frame to ensure an unobstructed view of the night sky.)
On either side of the bed are thoughtful touches including ambient bedside lamps, calming pillow spray, and a JBL Bluetooth speaker, perfect for playing your favourite music and taking advantage of the bubble’s naturally immersive acoustics. A 6KW remote-controlled split-system heating and cooling unit keeps you comfortable year-round, and for those chilly winter nights, we’ve included two hot water bottles and a heated mattress cover for an extra layer of warmth.
In front of the bed, a cozy sitting area with two comfortable chairs and a coffee table offers the perfect spot for your morning coffee, a glass of wine, or simply soaking in the incredible views. We’ve even included stargazing binoculars for guests who want to get closer to the stars above.
The ensuite bathroom is modern and calming, with a hot shower, flushing toilet, and a wash basin with mirror. Opposite the bathroom, you’ll find a compact yet thoughtfully designed kitchenette with everything you need for light meals and snacks. It includes a Nespresso pod machine (with complimentary pods), microwave, toaster, kettle, and a 40L mini-fridge. We’ve stocked it with all the essentials: plates, bowls, cutlery, mugs, wine and champagne glasses, salad and cheese boards, pots, pans, a chopping board, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, plus tea, oats, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
Step outside onto your expansive 11.7m private deck, where two white Adirondack chairs invite you to pause and breathe in the mountain air. Just beside the bubble entrance is your own fully sheltered BBQ area, complete with a Baby Weber barbecue, a quaint dining nook, and a stunning round picture-frame window that perfectly captures the breathtaking landscape. Whether you’re cooking a meal or just sitting back with a drink, it’s the ideal space to unwind in comfort, no matter the weather.
To help you make the most of your stay, we provide a beautifully curated digital welcome guide filled with our favourite local cafes, wineries, walks, and experiences, including the nearby world famous Wilsons Promontory National Park.

Guest access
The Bubbles are located on a working farm with cattle and sheep. Each individual site is fenced and gated off in an area of about 50m x 50m. Please ensure when you enter the property you close ALL gates behind you and follow the directions provided in our welcome guide to your Bubble site when on the property.

Bubble Retreats is an adults-only accommodation only.
Any requests to change the date of booking within 30 days of booking will incur a $150 change fee. No change requests will be accepted within 21 days of booking date.
