Enjoy the serenity and coziness of your own authentic 1750 New England farmhouse surrounded by beautiful gardens. Antique interiors, granite fireplaces, flickering candlelight, original woodwork create a romantic ambiance. There’s nothing like sleeping in a canopy bed, peering up at a wood-beamed ceiling! Beautiful modern kitchen with generous amenities and large full bath with washer & dryer.

The space
An authentic 1750 New England cape home, with bedroom and living room in original condition, whilst the kitchen and bath are updated with modern conveniences. Enjoy four acres of gardens, woodland and forest - seasonal outdoor games and fire pit positioned near a former Mohegan game lookout ledge. Magical!

Guest access
You will have sole access to first floor of the 1750 House, a separate home wing with own entrance and approx 1100 sq ft and free parking (1 vehicle). For health and safety reasons related to disability, this location cannot accept any animals of any kind or designation (pets, service or support) on the property.

Other things to note
Enjoy our four acres of gardens, woodland walks and wildflower meadows. Our new fire pit has been positioned in a naturally clear circle next to an old Mohegan tribe game lookout ledge. Magical!

Neighborhood highlights

Ross Hill Road is little changed since first recorded in the early 18th century. It is narrow and curvy, scenic and uncluttered. Lovely for a country walk. Down the street is the historic cemetery that houses all of the past residents of the house until modern times. Despite the rural road, modern shopping is within 5 minutes, while casinos and outlet stores are approximately 15 minutes away.
