About This Listing
Welcome to beautiful Adelaide and your home away from home.
You can enjoy all Adelaide has to offer from my beautiful sandstone fronted charter home that is only 10 minutes to the city, 10 minutes to the hills and 20 minutes drive to the beach.
I have a large, light filled home that has two bedrooms available to AirBNB guests so if the calendar shows that your dates are not available please look at my other listing "Close to CBD / 2B/R Quality Comfort" as the other room may still be available.
A large, light, airy, quiet bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed that sleeps two and a clean and tidy modern bathroom at one end of the house is available to you. It also has reverse cycle air conditioning and a ceiling fan, with wall to wall wardrobes that includes shelves and drawers for you to unpack and relax. Another bedroom is also available (once the booking gets to three people or more otherwise additional costs will apply) with a very comfy queen bed that sleeps two and would share the bathroom. This room also has a ceiling fan and heater. Quality fresh sheets, pillows and towels are supplied.
You are welcome to use the free Wi-Fi, modern and fully equipped kitchen, laundry with washing machine, dryer and clothes line, family room, dining room or lovely private outdoor area with some local birdlife. I am happy to provide a continental breakfast with a selection of teas, coffee, toast and cereal. If you have a car there is also plenty of safe parking as my home is a corner block.
There are local Restaurants, shops and I am close to public transport which comes every 15 mins during the week. Also walking distance to Waite Campus.
South Australia is well known for its wine and food. From my home it would be easy for you to do a grand winery tour! (Fleurieu Peninsula, Barossa and The Adelaide Hills). Known as the Festival City and currently number 9 in Lonely Planet's Top Ten cities to visit, it certainly is a place to see.
Other Things to Note
I have lived interstate and overseas and know how important a quiet, warm, clean and well situated home is to your stay. I enjoy having people share my home and hope to see you soon.
I have a warm and welcoming home but if I could ask you to please be careful with the timber floors and not wear high heels or have suitcase wheels on it. Also please do not lay on the bed quilt cover or wear shoes on the cream rugs. Thank you!
Please make yourself feel at home - No smokers please.
My stay was brief but Suzann made me feel comfortable and welcomed during my time there. She also helped me with restaurant information. Her fellow housemate was kind enough to drive me to Woolworth to buy some food. Thanks Suzann and Steve.
Suzann's home is a very warm place and we felt completely at ease during our stay. She was very helpful and went out of the way to help us shop, guide us on Adelaide's tourist places. The neighborhood is very picturesque and serene. It was thoroughly enjoyable for me and my family being at her house and we recommend it to anyone looking for similar accommodation in Adelaide.
Suzann was lovely, very friendly, welcoming into her home and made me feel at ease about staying in a strangers house.
Suzann was absolutely an amazing hostess. The listing I stayed at was at a very convenient location and it was also very affordable as well.
It was a privlege to stay at this listing and recommend it to anyone.
Suzann is a wonderful host, and fine woman. We enjoyed our stay in her lovely house, and we enjoyed our conversation with Suzann over wine tasting.
The location is very convenient. Just a walk of about 5-10 minutes will take you to the bus station across a gas station. The bus is about half an hour to the city center. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. When you walk out of the door, you start enjoying the early morning sun and birds singing. I do hope I could have the chance of coming back to Adelaide, and being Suzann's guest once more.
I feel very welcome from the very start and the place is clean and tidy.
Suzann is easy going host, during the night wasn't any noise and the place is secure.
When I get up in the morning Suzann offer me a cup of tea we have a bit of chat and I (website hidden) well during the night I decide to go out and Suzann supply n spare key.

About the Host, Suzann
I'm from Adelaide but have lived in the USA and Melbourne. I had my own company for 8 years and am now working for an arts organisation. Sailing and anything involved in the water gives me a lot of pleasure.
I have been so fortunate to have had many warm and interesting people stay with me through Air BNB during the last 2 years. I have learnt so much from sharing my home and have made some good friends through helping them enjoy their stay here in Adelaide.
