I love that the proceeds from this house go to help the turtles but, there is a lot of noise from the road below

Michelle, Thank you for staying with us. Sadly you gave us a bad review do to a misunderstanding with your booking, we have two properties, one that has AC and is newly renovated, also has a higher rate, and the house that you booked that has no AC. I do not state in any part of Palmeras Beach Cottage in Montezuma that this house has AC

Ntt's place was fabulous. Wonderful porch with hammocks - perfect place to watch the afternoon rain. A short walk to town and across the street from a small, essentially private, beach. We loved our time in Montezuma!

We had a perfect time at this accommodation! It's right at the beach and the balcony is ideal for cooking, eating and having a drink. It's a 10 min-walk to Montezuma Centre. We can only recommend it.

Cool place with a great balcony. Right next to the ocean and a really cool infinity pool Iike spot on the rocks by the ocean. Great location it was just swealtering hot with no a/c and not enough breezeways. Also there was a fish smell on the towels and beds/house. Host responded quickly and rewashef/cleaned everything and it helped a lot but the smell was still there a little. Again, not a big deal but thought it should be mentioned. The porch really was incredible though! Good deal for the money

This property is beautiful and clean and well kept in what I feel is a perfect location in a town where part of my heart loves year round. Ntt was easy to communicate with and her care taking staff, Marisol and Ariel, are wonderful, helpful and attentive to any needs that arise. The only note I would make is that while the rules state you can not invite strangers from town, which I agree with, what this actually means is that you can not allow anyone not on your check in list on to the property. As someone with a long history with this town and many long time friends there, this rule was a problem for me as it was not clearly stated and my friends were not allowed to pop by for even a coffee or to meet us to go to the beach. If you do not have friends in town and a history with this wonderful place then this is a non issue but if you do then you should know that this particular house rule, which I 100% agree with, is not exactly as stated and should read that no one other than those listed on check in is welcome in the property. Overall, as mentioned, a perfect location. A beautiful house. A fantastic cause that the money goes to and wonderful staff all around. I really loved this house and would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience this amazing Costa Rican town that I have held in my heart for over a decade. Pura Vida!

Plain and simple... I would live here if I had the chance. The house is close to the activity of the town, but you still feel secluded. You can easily hear the ocean at night. The porch and hammocks are spectacular for an easy morning watching iguanas walk around and climb the trees. There is a little bit of road noise (since it's really the only road), but nothing too bad. The house is simple and has everything you need to stay comfortably. The walk to Montezuma was easy and took about 10 minutes or so. At Ntt's recommendation, we also took the Zuma Tours horseback ride to the waterfall which we'd highly recommend! The waterfall was really more of a giant private swimming hole with a small waterfall into it and it was gorgeous! Such a great environment to spend a few days!!! We can't wait to come back some day!
