This Room boasts over 450 incredible bootleg films to watch! +HBO and WiFi if you are analog challenged. BONUS: Each Reservation comes with one free piece of art from our world famous Art-O-Mat located in the lobby/gallery! Comfy bed, unique, and clean.

The space
Fully renovated and updated with brand new self-controlled heating and A/C, appliances, the West Salem Art Hotel has everything you'll need for a most comfortable stay! The best part, we think, is the unique design and artwork! Most of which is for sale! See something you like?, you can easily purchase and take back home with you!
The West Salem Art Hotel is a beautifully curated space with lots to look at and enjoy! After ascending the grand staircase, you will enter the lobby/Gallery where you are welcome to have a seat and relax during your stay! We also have a full kitchen with a coffee bar or you can venture next door to the Public House for a fancy coffee drink and a yummy treat! The building was built in 1931 and many of the original hardware details remain. We believe we have made a space that is warm, cozy, inviting, and clean!

You have access to the kitchen, the living area, and the dining area, as well as our laundry room. (please do not do laundry between 11 AM and 3 PM. )Also, please feel welcome to enjoy our outdoor solarium for dining or soaking in some sun! Weather permitting of course!

🖼️🖼️🖼️On your bedside table, there is an Art-O-Mat Token for you to choose a piece of artwork to take home with you! My friend Clark Whittington has brilliantly taken old cigarette machines and turned them into Art-dispensing machines! You will find this machine in our gallery lobby! Enjoy!! Please let me know if you would like an additional token/s they are five dollars apiece and I would be happy to accommodate!🖼️🖼️🖼️

The West Salem Historic District is located southwest of Winston-Salem's city center (a short walk) and immediately west of the museum village of Old Salem. There is a lovely coffee shop right next door and they switch over to beer and wine in the evenings. The West Salem Public House has a beautiful back garden to sip on your warm or cold beverage all while surrounded by the last of West Salem‘s 200 year-old farmland! Minutes from downtown, Truist ballpark, UNCSA, Old Salem, Salem College, and Salem Academy. Walk to the ballpark and catch a game at Truist Stadium! Near Salem Lake and great hiking trails! This is as central as you can be without having to pay for parking!
