Full of charm, this is a unique, stylish studio Loft. Located in beautiful, downtown, Union, WV, The Loft is perched above a downtown office building built in the 1930s. Inside, you’ll find a new kitchen, refurbished hallway bathroom & shower, and a fabulous ensuite bedroom, office & living space. This is an offsite rental for Beaverdam Falls, LLC, Virginia's Premier Nature Preserve, and is located 20-minutes away from the Falls Property. Guests enjoy full access to Beaverdam Falls.

The space
This space is completely private and is a stand alone space, even though it’s an apartment. This is the only apartment available to the public in the upper portion of this building. Though there is a second apartment accessible via this apartment’s staircase, the owner of the building never uses the back apartment when guests are staying in the Airbnb. You have this space all to yourself, and it’s modern, funky, and totally cool.

Having worked in many areas, I have much of my work experience & time in the service industry: managing at the restaurant level, and in events, & even at wineries as well. Although I love the service industry, my passion has always been teaching. But, I love working in nature, managing natural land, & restoring cars in my spare time. Most recently, I taught French in public schools, managed online learning programs in Richmond Public Schools, & I have my BA in French & Theatre, & my MA in French Literature from UVA. Born & raised in Florida, Melbourne/Ocala are both my home towns, but the Virginia’s have my heart! After finishing my MA & teaching French as an instructor at UVA, I ventured into ecotourism, camping & property/land management for my family properties. Currently, I operate an ecotourism business at our ranch & nature preserve, Beaverdam Falls in Alleghany County, Virginia. We operate glampsites through Tentrr, Airbnb rentals, among other things, & manage other lands & homes in WV and FL. I’m fortunate to do what I love, & to be in the great outdoors.
