OUR CORNER OF PARADISE:
There are more than 30 years since we fell in love Creysseilles for its mountains, small villages of stone, authenticity and friendliness of its people, we had the chance to discover and buy in 1985, this old farm-high almost in ruins we gradually renovated.
Located at the end of road on a ledge overlooking at an altitude of 700 meters, our one-hectare property is an ideal place to rest overnight or for a few days to relax and enjoy the quiet, the view, and paths Hiking trails on Creysseilles or neighboring towns.
Like us, you will enjoy this place at all seasons: the spring flowers and mountains covered with yellow broom and bright skies, summer heat bearable for her in the pool with the sound of cicadas and the smell of cut hay; fall for you feast on golden colors of the landscape and enjoy a good roast chestnuts in the winter to comfort you in front of the fireplace back from a walk with a good cup of tea with a slice of gingerbread or kougelhopf baked.
Our house has 2 full length guest rooms on each side of our living space. The breakfasts and dinners cooked by the lady of the house are served in the dining room under the arches of the old stables, or on the terrace in summer.
We will be delighted to welcome you from 1 May 2013 and to share our love for this corner of the Ardèche.
Martine and Jean-Paul Marchal, and their pets: Allie and Mia bitches, cats Chataigne, Chatra and Chabraque.
Probably dating back to the seventeenth century for its oldest part, this old farmhouse has been extended to high as housing needs. It consists of three adjoining buildings and residential housing cellars, covered porch, a bread oven and a courtyard closed by a gate. The high walls were lowered once to enjoy the view and access to the pool.
The land extends over 1 hectare of meadow and moor, and boasts a garden that we repaired 5 years ago, after finding the pool fed by a spring.
For fans of walking or cycling trips, you can enjoy the network of hiking trails or low traffic roads, leaving the house. You can in an hour or two walk to discover the cave of the Huguenots, an ancient tomb carved in stone, the church, the watchtower with its 360 ° view, or the volcano Chirouze. We are at your disposal maps and guides of the area and can advise you according to your provisions.
To explore the area by car, you will reach in 15 minutes Privas, Aubenas in 30 minutes, 45 minutes Antraigues, Vallon Pont d'Arc in 1 hour, Mont Gerbier de Jonc in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
