Very nice stay. Apartment was very nice. Turned out there was a bus stop 150 Meters away which took me directly to were I need to go.
Taragh's place is very well located, comfortable and clean. As Taragh was away the whole week I spent there I cannot say much about her but I did enjoy the apartment and the neighbourhood so close to King Cross.
lovely place; overlooks the canal and very good location; King;s Place art centre and British Library very close.
Taragh's apartment is nice and clean, just a short walk from the tube. The area is very quite, safe and convenient. The room is comfortable and it had everything I needed, it isn't huge but the space is well used and there is plenty of storage. I loved the personal touches Taragh put in setting up the room, they made me feel welcomed. I would be happy to go back if I had a chance to be in London again in the future.
It was my first time on Airbnb.... And I must say I could not have wish for a better experience! Taragh is definitely a pro at this. Everything was perfectly thought and executed. As some other guests have said, the room is small and could not fit 2 persons. But that said, everything else is awesome! I travel a lot for my job, and I must say that if all 4 stars hotels had Taragh's standards (clean, well put, comfortable, etc), it would be fantastic!
Taragh's flat is quite near King's cross station, which is convenient. Although it's not the most interesting area in London, her apartment is in a private yard... From your window, there is a canal inhabited by ducks and gees... you will feel like you are in Bruges or something!
Also, I definitely recommend to hire a bike with the Barclay system. There is a station at 2 minutes from Taragh's apartment... And for a quid a day, you will be able to go everywhere downtown quite easily.
Finally, Taragh, as an host, is really great! She is quiet, intelligent and knows a lot about what is going on in town. I was over only for 2 nights, and we only had the chance to meet on the last night... But it was a really great conversation.
When traveling alone, I would never hesitate to go back to Taragh's while in London.
I only stayed at Taragh's place for one night, but it was a very good experience. The apartment is quite central, though still in a pretty quiet street. Taragh is friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the one or two conversations we managed to have. I'll definitely keep the place in mind for my next stays in London.
Taragh could not have been a better host. The room is lovely and she has thought of every need of the traveler with an array of tea selections, maps, reading lamp. I enjoyed talking with Taragh and felt my stay at her place was just what I needed in the midst of an intense weekend workshop.
Her directions and welcome materials were very detailed and made it easy to get to her place and just relax.
