Origami House, reborn in 2023, has been refreshed with a stunning renovation in 2026 that honors its original spirit of puristic luxury. This intimate haven is a sanctuary of tranquility, a place where time seems to stand still.

The villa is one of 10 unique magnificent houses in the private gated Penjiwaan Community in a quiet and beautiful area of Mas just 15 minutes drive from Ubud. The house is in front of the jungle and amidst scenic rice fields.

The space
It all began with a handful of owners, international celebrities, families, artists and conscious entrepreneurs whom having fallen in love with this place. The house is primarily used as a retreat center for the owners and their friends to get new inspirations and ideas.

We consider our home a little art piece. It was designed by Alexis Dornier, finished in April 2016 and featured in some of the biggest architectural media exposure. It was voted by Elle Decoration, UK, "to the 11 most beautiful luxury homes of the world". We decided to call it Origami House because of its pretty unique timber roof structure.

400 sqm total area of house with pool and terrace, 280 sqm garden area and 210 sqm clean living space offer enough space for rest and relaxation.

The luxury private villa hosts 4 magnificent bedrooms overlooking the jungle, especially beautiful in the morning sun, AC and with its private outdoor area. Feel the quiet atmosphere in the jungle and listen to the trees, leaves and birds! It's fantastic!

Relax in your own traditional Balinese green stone infinity pool in the lush garden. Have a sunbath on the nice sun deck or have a workout in our little gym nearby the jungle.

Be well and happy and enjoy your yoga practice on the large yoga terrace and feel the atmosphere with harmony and respect for Balinese nature...

Enjoy cooking in the fantastic, unique, fully equipped kitchen with fresh water dispenser. The kitchen block was designed by Jonas Ruf, creator of unique furniture pieces and objects.

Also we can help you organize a babysitter and pool fence rental.
They are very polite and helpful and will organize that for you.

Go-Jek App
It is basically an app that helps you find scooter drivers that basically do whatever you need them to do. Super inexpensive. You can tell them to go to a certain restaurant for you, order whatever you like. They pick it up for you, pay the money for you and you pay them their fee and whatever they spent for you, once they arrive at the house to deliver. It's super convenient. Ask our House Manager if you need help using it.
