Sean's cabin was exactly as described, and was perfect for our family mountain getaway. Sean was a great host, and was responsive to all our needs. The personalized welcome sign with our family's name, a hand-made gift, and homemade lemon squares were nice touches that made us feel welcome from the outset. The cabin itself is clean and well designed, and its location was convenient for all of our activities in the surrounding areas. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a mountain getaway.
My family and I had an amazing time at the cabin, we were greeted with a hand crafted gift from Sean, lemon bars in the fridge and a welcome sign! The cabin is gorgeous with all the comforts you could want, a huge kitchen with everything you need, a grill, wifi, surround sound, cable. Plenty space to relax and enjoy the mountains. We also were please to find a high chair for our two year old already at the cabin! Everything was exactly as described if not better than the pictures. The creek side area was perfect, we loved using the swing, hammock, the hike down and up was a good workout but the path was well paved with rocks. We enjoyed hiking in the surrounding areas and made it up to sea creek falls which is just a few minutes up from the cabin. We can't wait to come back for another vacation!
Stop reading reviews. This is it. Sean's cabin is meticulously put together. Everything from the light fixtures to the kitchen makes you feel like you're in a special place, and enjoy, because you are. The gated and covered back deck overlooks an outdoor fireplace below. It was perfect for letting two little kids run around while enjoying some coffee and watching hummingbirds dart back and forth taking sips from the feeder. Hanging out by the creek was a ton of fun, and my daughter spent a ton of time on the swing while my son ran around. Lunch by the creek was a treat! The kitchen is well put together. Sean had lemon squares and a bread knife with handwritten notes ready for us as gifts. Thanks Sean! You really made us feel welcome. Our family, two kids 2 and 5, truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.
What can I say about this place, it is heaven! I arrived with my daughter and we spent 4 glorious days in Sean's little slice of heaven. I have rented many places, but Sean's cabin on Cooper Creek was a top spot. Well appointed, idyllic setting and beyond peaceful. I will be back, no doubt.
This was our first experience using Airbnb and didn't quite know what to expect. Sean definitely made everything very easy and seamless. We spent four days at Sean's mountain cabin and loved it! You can tell that his heart went into the building of the cabin as it shows with all of the details. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Sean left us a hand carved bread knife when we arrived. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The cabin is not only nicely decorated but super CLEAN. The property is beautiful and you'll definitely see wildlife. We saw deer, wild turkeys and the variety of birds that you can see from the back deck is amazing. Hummingbirds, bluebirds, hawks, wood thrushes, cardinals, mourning doves to name a few. The area is perfect for a remote getaway. It's also perfect if you're looking for some outdoor adventure: fishing, hiking, paddling. The property extends down to the creek where there is plenty of room to hang out, grill, build a fire and just relax. There are also some bat boxes on the property which help keep away the mosquitos. Overall, it was a very nice cabin and a nice experience. If you appreciate the little details in architecture and decorating, then you'll love this cabin. There is custom cabinetry in the kitchen and the bathrooms. I'm not sure I can put into words how nice it is. We'd love to return!
Sean is an excellent host. There was a gift upon arrival for us as well as a lovely and tasty dessert. We had not problems reaching Sean with questions about the area, mainly how to find the Swing bridge over the Tocca River. The cabin is awesome. We enjoyed the hot tub, as well as grilling out, and going down to the river. We saw deer on the property near the river, which was very cool. Directions to the cabin are clear and made it easy to find. We loved our stay in this cozy cabin, and will be back. We were there in early June and although the days were warm, the mornings and evenings were cool and comfortable. Seeing the stars from the deck at night were awe inspiring! Everything was clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for more!
This was our second stay at the cabin. We felt welcome and very comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was lovely to experience the cabin in another season -- Summer! The fresh mountain air was just awesome for our Florida family. We enjoyed the creek, sitting on the deck, making s'mores, playing corn hole, watching the hummingbirds, and exploring the local waterfalls and trails. The kitchen has everything you need to make family meals and having a grill on the deck is great too. We played chess and did puzzles. Watched movies. We did nothing a lot of the time! We tried to take care of the cabin like our home and it seems like all the other guests must as well because the cabin is beautifully maintained. The only thing we haven't figured out is fishing with the rods on the deck, so we'll have to do that on our next visit to the cabin.
