Beautiful spacious cabin in Cooper Creek Wildlife Management Area and right ON Cooper Creek. Close to waterfalls, Toccoa River, the Appalachian Trail, and about 20 miles from Blairsville and the quaint mountain village of Blue Ridge, GA. Also, about 20 miles from Lake Blue Ridge. This cabin has mountain views, and about 200 feet of creek frontage. Cooper Creek is wide, trout-stocked, and always flowing on this property.
There are generous decks (covered and open) on three sides of this D-log cabin. The decks are equipped with two lockable gates so that large areas of the contiguous upper deck can be secured. A concrete patio runs the full length of the cabin on the lower level, which has a Ciara XLS ALPS SPA 5 person Hot Tub. There is a gorgeous stone outdoor fireplace on an additional patio that runs perpendicular to the cabin. A wide, graveled switchback facilitates your walk down to the creek area, which has steps into the creek, a picnic table, grill and fire pit.
The all wood interior of the cabin (not an inch of sheetrock here!) has 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft and two large bathrooms. Each bathroom has double-sinked vanities. It comfortably sleeps 6. (One king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 double size futon in sleeping loft.) The great room, equipped with a large sectional, can accommodate an additional 2-3 guests. Washer and Dryer available upon request. The cabin is decorated in a rustic-industrial-contemporary style. Come and visit....you won't want to leave!

Superb and well-stocked cabin that makes you feel like you're in the 21st century but without abandoning a rustic aura. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially with the creek nearby.
What a wonderful week of R&R. Sean and his family greeted us with lemon bars and a personalized sign, which set a welcoming tone. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, including luxury touches like a hot tub and beautiful master bath. The property has the most magnificent creek spot to just sit and soak in the view. The 3-tier deck was great for reading, napping and had lockable gate very useful with a roving 2 year old.
The area surrounding the property was perfect for great hiking (I was an AT '03 thru-hiker and loved doing Blood Mountain and parts of the Benton Mackaye Trail), trout fishing (with license), sight seeing and just getting away from the day to day grind. We hope to return in the future! Thank you Rider Family for sharing your lovely home!
Great location, incredibly comfortable, and everything we'd hoped for to enjoy our short baby-moon. Only wish we could've stayed longer. Sean did a wonderful job preparing the cabin for our visit, and we really appreciated the personal touches.
Amazing experience, beautiful home and professionally kept. There was a fire built and ready to light when we got there. Small touches made this immediately comfortable stay really special.
Everything was as advertised. Great cabin, very clean and in a great area to visit - Thanks Sean!
The cabin was perfect! It's a different kind of paradise ...it was very cozy and welcoming! Will definitely be going back in warmer months
The cabin and the host were both awesome. We were greeted with a yummy desert in the fridge and a fun gift to take home. The condo is all you would hope for in a mountain cabin. Huge fireplace, hot tub, trail to the creek. My wife and I stayed here for valentines weekend with our 4 year old daughter and our dog.
Don't miss Sea Creek Falls.
