The space
This is upstairs with its original tung oil floorboards and wood beam ceiling. We kept some of the hidden gems of past inhabitants. This civil war home is now a bed and breakfast and a living museum experience. This is a unique home and each room has original features as found in place. Restored to keep parts of her history exposed so you can see her story.

This is a special room because it IS has the original wallpaper put up by the children over the raw beams that are still there. We like to emphasize this is not insulated or lined in any manner. It is in the original state from 1860. It is upstairs with its own private bathroom right beside. It is a large space compared to the rest of the house being 24 x 24 x 24 feet. The bathroom is open plan to the room you have your own TV and couch. Private coffee facilities in a fridge This is UPSTAIRS 2 1/2 flights of stairs. Please note this is a rustic space and if you are looking for white, clinical boring walls, this is not the booking for you.
