Come stay at the Ocotillo Casita at Cat Mountain! Located feet from Tucson Mountain Park and inside Cat Mountain Station, this location is perfect for nature lovers and style hunters alike. The building was built around a John Wayne museum in the 1950's, but converted into three 1,200 sq. ft casitas in 2023. The unique décor in the space is locally sourced, creating a vintage ranch vibe surrounded by Ocotillo. It is perfect for travelers looking to relax in the Sonoran Desert.

The space
The Casitas are located in Cat Mountain Station. This area hosts an observatory and 2 separate hotels. Guided Star Tours are available to reserve through Cat Mountain Lodge, and guests receive a 20% discount. The grounds are full of Sonoran native plants, expertly cultivated by landscape architect Doug Larson. There are walking trails to a labyrinth, as well as our resident desert tortoise, Juanita Wayne.

The Ocotillo Casita is a one bedroom, one bath with an office. The bedroom has a king bed, the office has a full sized fold out sofa and the living room has a queen sized fold out sofa. The space is ADA accessible and boasts an impressive walk-in shower.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the space.
