Aesthetic Traditional Kura House by the genuine Japanese garden with koi pond in Komae 狛江, Tokyo. Kura, meaning old farm storage house, original structure might be older than 100 years old, now renovated for rent. It locates 40 min. from Shibuya or Shinjyuku and has a little of the county vibes of Japan. You can not expect to stay in a modern hotel. However, the staircase is very steep so hold the strong rope net to prevent falling.

It may take 25 min. from either Shinjuku or Shibuya by the Odakyu Line to get Komae 狛江Station. For the first time, I recommend to take a local train which means a train stops all the stations until you get used to it. Please study the web-site map carefully to find the house from the station. It is a little complicated even 10 min. walk. To take a taxi is a good idea. It costs just 1100yen to avoid getting lost
