House on a Hill is the perfect family getaway if you are looking for an authentic Montana living experience. Located in the Gallatin River Valley, you’ll enjoy panoramic mountain views while surrounded by 21 acres of wide-open private land.

House on a Hill is 20 minutes from Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Bozeman.

The space
The bright and open living area has plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The 75" 4k TV can be viewed from the sofas and from the dining table and kitchen. The perfect space for spending time with family and friends.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, gas stove and oven, french press & pour over coffee, and everything you might need to cook a full meal. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the deck overlooking the valley, or fire up the large BBQ grill for a family cookout.

On the upper level, you'll find the master bedroom with a king-size bed, an attached bathroom with a bath and shower, and a walk-in closet. On the ground floor, you'll find two additional queen bedrooms with closets, and a second bathroom with a shower.

There's plenty of space for 3+ cars to park outside the house.

Starlink Wi-Fi will provide high-speed internet during your stay.

House on a Hill is the perfect place to take in the beauty of Montana year-round. From hiking, visiting national parks and fishing in the warmer months to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. We provide a local guidebook after booking your dates so you can plan all your activities in advance.

The house is well off the main road, giving you unobstructed views of the valley and surrounding mountain ranges.

West Yellowstone entrance is a 2-hour drive
Ski resort in Big Sky - 80 minutes
Fly fishing access in East Gallatin - 5 minutes
Bozeman Hot Springs - 30 minutes

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house during their stay, and the front yard and BBQ area are not shared with the hosts.

Other things to note
Your hosts Marlys and Randy reside on the property, in a separate area away from the main house. They are often busy working and looking after their horses, sheep, chickens, and cows.

For your convenience and peace of mind, please note that the animals are kept in a dedicated area at the back of the property, away from the guest area. This is a working ranch so please do not approach the animals.

The fireplace is currently out of order and cannot be used. There is central heating in every room that will keep the house toasty warm.
