Soak up the view during your stay.
Low Stanger is a small, organic mixed farm in the Lake District. As well as taking advantage of the footpaths & bridleway which converge in Stanger, guests are welcome to explore the rest of the farm or go down to the river for fishing/skimming stones/quiet contemplation. A homemade loaf is baked for guests. Organic veg & fruit can be bought from us. Milk & newspaper deliveries can be arranged.
There's a good selection of games/books/dvds.
We're fairly new to Airbnb but not to holiday letting.

The space
The spacious, open plan living area is upstairs to take advantage of the views. The main bathroom is downstairs with the bedrooms.

Guest access
Guests have the whole of the cottage and are allowed to explore the farm. We can show you round the traditional farm buildings too, but ask that you don't go in those without us.

Other things to note
Parking is under the carport. Additional parking is available if you have two cars or an especially large vehicle. The patio area is to the side of the carport and is not enclosed.

Neighborhood highlights

Stanger is a quiet hamlet in the Lake District National Park, at the bottom of a single track no through road. There are views of fields and fells. The river Cocker is a very short walk from the cottage (through a field). There are two County Wildlife sites on the farm (wetlands), two traditional hay meadows (wildflower) and two orchards (more than 80 varieties of apples).
