Our Guests love it here! Newly renovated one-level cottage sits as a guest house on the grounds of the main residence in a private and soothingly quiet setting!

Bring your boat or rent one at nearby Yankee Point Marina and dock here at our private landing.

Amenities include fire pit, yard games, grill, shady patio, upscale interior, streaming technology, 3 Kayaks, and special care by experienced hosts.

The space
Guests love the special touches and amenities that include a fully stocked Keurig Coffee Station with excellent coffee choices, a spacious kitchen loaded with everything you need to prepare delicious family meals, an open space layout throughout the kitchen and living room with electrical fireplace, wireless Roku streaming TV, Bluetooth Speaker, personal workstation, plus 2 Queen Beds, a Single bed, and a double pull-out sofa.

All bed linens and bath towels are included along with a complete Laundry area with Washer, Dryer, Detergents, Ironing Board with iron, Upright and Hand Vacuums, and more!

Bring your boat or rent one at nearby Yankee Point Marina and dock here on the property near the confluence of the Corrotoman and Rappahannock Rivers.

Along with full access to the property and waterfront, the secluded acreage surrounding the cottage includes a picnic table, firepit, gas grill, 3 kayaks, and selected yard games. Your private parking area has space for 2-3 cars.

If you feel the need to explore the local communities of Kilmarnock, Irvington, and White Stone, be sure to gather around your Host for enlightening stories of the History, the People, the Steamboats, and the Pirates of Virginia’s Northern Neck!

Nana’s Cottage is close to several attractions including the Beaches at Belle Isle State Park, Hughlett Point Nature Preserve, and Windmill Point. But be sure to ask your Host about those other lesser-known beaches throughout the Northern Neck.

The Guest Guidebook will include much more, but just know that you will stay in a remarkably comfortable and serene location with access to all the joys of Virginia’s River Realm. For rainy days, you may want to head over to the Compass Entertainment Complex with everything from indoor climbing walls to electronic games, go-karts, mini-golf, movies, batting cages, and more.

While out-and-about, be sure to enjoy the quaint shops and eateries in downtown Kilmarnock, White Stone, and Irvington as you continue your visit to our nearby museums such as The Steamboat Museum (Irvington), Historic Christ Church (Weems), Lancaster History (Lancaster Court House), and the nearby water-life museums located in Morratico, Reedville, and Deltaville.

Guest access
You will be met by your Hosts at your arrival time and given further insights, tips, and keypad instructions. Check in is at 3pm and checkout out is at 11am, but please ask for flexibility.

As far as needing special checkout instructions…there aren’t any. After all, you’re on vacation aren’t you!?
