The space
Welcome to our cozy log cabin in beautiful Trysil. TopskillsHut of 63 m2 has all the comforts you could wish for while preserving the original charm. There are 8 + 2 sleeping places divided into 3 bedrooms.
The cozy living room has a nice dining area and a nice sofa corner with a new TV that supports screen sharing from both Apple and Android phones. Internet via fiber provides access to fast wi-fi of 100 Mbit/s.
The bathroom has a shower cabin and very plenty of storage.
The rustic kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday in the mountains – including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fondue stew, blender, electric mixer and waffle iron.
The hall is well planned with heated ski boot cabinet and plenty of hooks, hangers, drawers and shoe racks for all the outerwear and shoes needed on the ski holiday. In addition, two benches to sit on and practical wall rails with hooks where all helmets can be hung up.
Outside the house there is a spacious ski shed that also offers snow races, sledding and snow toys to borrow during the stay. There is an awesome sledding hill directly behind the house!
At the front is also the comfortable patio in the south/southwest position. There is outdoor furniture and a lovely barbecue area with a real fire pit for both cozy & cooking.
The driveway has plenty of room for two-three cars back to back.
In the plot line the ski track that easily takes you down to the ski system, only 400 m away. You put on your skis directly at the cabin, slide over the plot out into the transport track and easily go down the hill to the anchor lift F1 where you can also buy a lift pass. On the way home you take lift F6 at Skistar Lodge and slide down to the cabin on the alpine transport route. On a couple of occasions you need to help out and bask a little or kick if you go snowboarding.
If you prefer cross-country skiing or lovely winter walks, you also have these trails directly in the property line.
In 20 minutes you walk to Skistar Lodge and the center where, among other things, offers spa, après-ski, restaurants, bar, ski rental and ski shop.

DOWNHILL SKIING
Trysil is Norway ´ s largest ski resort with 69 ski slopes and 32 ski-lifts, three children's areas, and several Snow Parks. A total of 81 km of slopes.
The highest skiing is located at 1100 meters. The longest piste is 5.4 kilometers, the highest drop height is 685 meters.
Trysil has lots of varying slopes in three directions:
On the south side is the Tourist Center which offers long, wide ski slopes in varying degrees of difficulty. Here is also the children's area of Valles ski country as well as a blue and a black Snow Park.
On the same side there is the area Skihytta which offers long sunny slopes. There is an express lift, children's area, restaurants and heating cabin.
On the opposite side of the mountain there is Høyfjellssenteret and Fageråsen. There are restaurants, heating cabins, many green slopes, a number of red slopes as well as a large children's area with Valle's ski country.
In between the other areas is Høgegga, which is the steepest area in Trysil, with challenging skiing on long black slopes. It is a favorite area for many alpine ski stars. There is also a restaurant and heating cabin.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Cross-country skiing in Trysil consists of just over 100 kilometers with perfect well-groomed cross-country tracks, in varied forest and high mountain terrain. The cross-country tracks themselves are worth a ski trip to Trysilfjället.
In the mountains there are trails and tours both for training, enjoyment and real long trips on skis. There are also illuminated trails that make it possible to take a round after the sun has set. Care of the tracks is done by several different actors and interest associations and therefore the routines for when the tracks are driven up can vary slightly.
Ski cabin on the south side and Fageråsen on the north side are both good starting points for nice tours and the wide tracks are also good for skating. For you as a cross-country skier, TopskillsHytta is ideal, with access to some of Trysilfjellet's finest trails right in the property border!

If you want to go in the evening in illuminated trails, there is Trysilfjellet Arena in the vicinity of Trysil Turistsenter.
On the other side of the city center there are more trails, these are prepared by the Trysil Ski Trail Day.
BIKING
Trysil has one of Northern Europe's best network of bike paths around the mountains and throughout the municipality. It offers cycling for both big and small, beginners and experts!
