138m2 red Swedish wooden house in the middle of nature but close to small town. The house is located on a small hill with one side up to the forest and overlooking the lake from the other. The house is kept in the old style but with modern installations and decor.

The space
The house is 138 m2 on two levels and is beautifully located on a small hill with a nice view of the lake and with the forest in the backyard. The house contains in the ground floor: Entrance hall, distribution corridor with access to bathroom with shower, utility room with washing machine and drying cabinet, large dining kitchen with typical Swedish furniture and wood stove but also electric stove, large refrigerator and freezer. From there access to living room and dining room. Further from here there is access to a lovely conservatory with a beautiful view of the lake. From the conservatory there is access to a 30m2 large south-facing terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers. From the distribution corridor in the house there is a staircase to the first floor with 2 rooms with double beds, toilet and a landing. On the repos are 2 more beds, so in total on the first floor there are beds for 6 people. If additional sleeping places are desired, the dining room can be converted into a bedroom with a further 2 sleeping places (extra thick mattresses are in the skunk)

The guesthouse contains 2 rooms and a total of 4 additional beds. The living room in the guesthaus has a 42 "smart TV.

High speed internet is available both in the house as well as in the guesthaus.

If you like to walk in the nature the forrest is just outside the house. Do you need some more challages hiking is possible at Hovfjeldet just 40 km from the house. Alpine skiiing is also possible at Hovfjeldet or SKI Sunne. If you prefer nordic skiiing you can find several tracks some of them lightened. In the summertime you can swim in the lake, drive MTB and fishing for pike and trout. See more (URL HIDDEN)

My wife (Helle) and I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I work in IT and Helle in a medico company. We are both in mid fifties. We like to travel and to experience new cultures. We enjoy visiting and getting to know people around the world. We have reached an age where we more and more enjoy the scenery the beautiful nature brings and that is why we 4 years ago bought the house in Sunne, Värmland (the region) in Sweden. When we are in our Swedish house we love walking in the woods, fishing, skiing (both Nordic and alpine) and in the summer time we also go swimming in the lake situated approx. 2 km from our house. We enjoy the silence and the coziness of the house. We appreciating taking good care and maintaining our things and our house. We have a big family and enjoy the time we spend together and meet several times a month in different occasions.
