Year round we're wonderfully suited for COUPLE'S CELEBRATIONS, GROUP RETREATS, OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS. We are pleased to see the progressive, responsible parents using our tipi as a fun beneficial learning experience. Social distancing assured.

The most unique private lodging in the area is filled with personal touches and serves as a great base for romantics, hikers, bikers, divers, bird watchers, winers and diners wanting to explore the natural beauty of the Ozarks.

Super comfortable 22ft tipi is furnished with two queen beds and two additional twin cots. Toiletries, towels, pure cotton bedding, blankets (+electric blanket & heated mattress cover in cold months) and pillows provided, as well as an assortment of fresh teas, coffees, gas grill & utensils, tableware, hammock, propane fireplace, campfire ring, books, games, local maps, brochures and travel tips are also supplied. In the winter we provide a heater, and a fan in the summer.

The tipi is tucked away in the woods on a 16-acre property where secluded forests envelope the maintained grounds. You will have plenty of solitude and space to hang your headdress, Yes, it's true, we supply free firewood, and a s'mores kit, too.

Tipi is located in the woods, so guests will have the run of their place without worrying about disturbing or being disturbed.

We live on the property, so you may see us occasionally working or socializing with our friends or other guests.

Our place is quiet, and we like to keep it that way. Lots of birds and animals. The property offers walking trails you are welcome to use. Along the way you'll find a table & chairs for a romantic picnic, resting benches, gliders, meditation spots, swings, a little library and other relaxing surprises.

Most guests visit us to enjoy the peace and solitude, and to explore nature. Many state parks, historic sites and a broad range of great outdoor activities are all perched nearby.

The closest store is 1 mile away, on the main road, and recommended restaurants are 10-15 miles away (see the Guidebook and the map at the bottom of his page).
