The historically protected house is located in the center of Weimar/Thuringia and many attractions can be reached on foot.
Built during 16th century it is one of the oldest dwelling houses in the so called Frauentorvorstadt (old town). Its vaulted basement though, is estimated to be of even older origin.
The “Eckermannhaus” derives from Johann Peter Eckermann, friend and secretary of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. From 1823 until 1831 Eckermann resided here.
The apartment is consists of a combined living / bedroom,
a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with shower.
It is furnished in the Bauhaus style.
A convertible couch in the living room makes the apartment suitable for a maximum of 4 people.
