Large 24 ft yurt located on our 5 acre property. Gorgeous views to the west. Includes a king size bed, and queen sofa bed. Located in Applegate Valley. Many fabulous wineries nearby. We're 6 miles south of downtown Grants Pass, and 2 miles north of Murphy. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, or catch a spectacular sunset. It's all good!
Please note: Well behaved children are welcome.

The space
A 24 ft yurt with a king size bed and a queen sofa bed. Large dining table. Closet available. The private bathroom (indoor, with plumbing) is located about 50 feet from the yurt, with 2 sinks, toilet and shower.

Continental breakfast (pastry, juice, water, fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal) is provided. It will be in the yurt when you arrive. Will replenish as needed. Coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and small refrigerator. Dishes, silverware, glassware included. Outdoor grill available. Firepit available when conditions allow.

Private use of the yurt, bathroom, hot tub, firepit (seasonal).
There is a propane grill in the yard for the exclusive use of the guests. No cooking in the yurt, please. Microwave is OK. We are cannabis friendly, but only outside. No smoking or vaping inside the yurt.

Hot tub is only for age 8 and older. Adult must be present at ALL times.

Other things to note
We have portable AC's which lower the temp by about 15 degrees, and portable heaters which can raise the temp by about 25 degrees. It is a canvas structure.
There is a grocery market/deli, ATM and gas station in Murphy, 2 miles away.

Neighborhood highlights

We're in a semi rural area with long views to the west. There is a grocery store located about 2 miles south of us, in Murphy. We are located just at the northern end of the Applegate Wine Trail. More than a dozen wonderful Oregon wineries are located within a short drive. The city of Grants Pass and the mighty Rogue River are about 6 miles north of us. Crater Lake, Redwoods Park and the Oregon Coast are all within a 2 hour drive. Make us part of your road trip!

Greetings! My husband Richard and I love being hosts and meeting so many amazing people. We are both "retired" from our day jobs (mine from the American Red Cross, Richard's from the City of LA where he was the Director at Barnsdall Arts Center). Richard has also been a professional sculptor for 50+ years. I am originally from the Boston area, but lived for 22 years in LA and another 13 years in the middle of the woods, Montana. We have lived in Grants Pass for 5+ years now. We love to travel both domestically and internationally and have had multiple opportunities to travel throughout much of Europe. Travel, in our opinion, is the absolute best education!
