The space
Located on the south side of downtown Sheboygan, the neighborhood is quiet and you can sometimes hear the waves crashing on the shore. There are sidewalks in both directions going toward beachfront parks. And if you walk away from the shore, you will find a little coffee shop!

The home is rustic, cozy and clean. It is not fancy. The front door is your private entrance which leads up the stairs to 3 lake view rooms and full bath. There is a full sized hallway connecting everything. The entire upstairs is your private getaway with no shared spaces with other residents. The room in the A-frame is the family room which offers a small dining table, tv with Apple tv and buffet that contains dishes and small appliances. There is filtered water in the bathroom sink on the cold side. Light cooking is possible with a microwave, air fryer and refrigerator.

Please note that I did mark NO A/C. There is actually A/C here, but it is on its last legs. I am happy to run it for you, but please don't expect the space to be "cold". The lake keeps things pretty cool and breezy and there are fans in the space for you to use.

The house does have A/C but it is controlled downstairs. If you are uncomfortably hot, please let us know. There are also fans available. The lake is naturally cool and breezy in the summer and actually a bit warmer in the winter. The house has warm radiant heat. The A-frame room tends to run a bit warmer/colder due to all of the glass.

The best thing about Sheboygan are its beaches. Be sure to sign up for sailing lessons or private outings at the marina. Walk out to the pier while the waves are crashing. Visit the river walk for ice cream, bookstore, dinner, mini-golf, water park and arcade. Ride the scooters up and down the public beach area. Visit the multiple city beachfront parks for sunbathing and reading a good summertime read. Rent a variety of boats. Watch the kite surfers (even in the winter!) Be sure to visit Kohler Andrae State Park for dunes and boardwalks, and plenty of other beautiful coastal parks right outside of Sheboygan. Did we mention ice-cream?!
Pack your lakeside attire and get ready to enjoy Wisconsin's own midwestern "ocean".
Guest access
Access the guest suite via the front door. Park in front of the house, there will be a lockbox on the front door. Enter with your code and go up the stairs. There is a coat closet down stairs for an extra things you would like to store.
Once you get upstairs. you'll be in a hallway that hosts 3 lakeside rooms and full bath. This is all of your personal space. There are people living downstairs but they enter via the back of the house. You will be welcome to use the outdoor porch overlooking the lake, as well as the umbrella table outside in the front lawn. Feel free to enjoy the yard, charcoal grill, outdoor tables and gardens.
There are public beaches located in both directions down the coast. Head north for a plenty of public beaches, there will be some near King's Park, Blue Harbor, Deland Park and finally up around to Vollrath Park. If you head south, you have a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Park which is pretty quiet and you may even get the remote beach to yourself! Be sure to take your shoes off and enjoy a little walk along the water's edge. If you drive about 15 minutes south you'll be in the beautiful Kohler-Andrae State Park which offers sand dunes, board walks and plenty of gorgeous beaches and camping.

We have things available upon request, such as extra blankets, a change of sheets, additional towels, phone chargers, snacks, light-blocking curtains, toiletries, etc. Let us know what you need.

Please note that there are 2 little dogs that live downstairs. They do bark from time to time.

There is no shared space with anyone else in the house. There is a private entrance. The suite of 3 rooms and bath is your private space.
