Handcrafted green built Tiny House on Wheels. Due to the pandemic we are taking extra steps to ensure cleanliness, and changing to a 2 night minimum.
*THIS LISTING HAS MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION, North of Asheville, not address listed (or what map shows). Now in an ever better spot at the EDGE OF ASHEVILLE ... 10 minutes downtown & all that Asheville has to offer. Walkable to restaurants, shops, lake, yoga -hard to find anything else like it!

The space
Yes, it's a whole house under 100q ft! The new location is in an urban lot next to a main house, yet still feels like it's own private space. The Tiny House itself is an amazing little house with unique touches throughout that make it a true one of a kind you'll just have to see for yourself ... with propane fireplace, shower, compost toilet, sleeping loft, couch/bed, full kitchen, gas stove, closet, and foldable desk. Lots of attention to detail in this green built house, with handmade cutting board countertops, custom stainless shower walls, a whole house water filter system, organic beds, linens, and beautiful reclaimed wood throughout.
And now with seasonal AC in the house in the summertime!!!! And plenty of windows and fans to cool the house down.

Sleeping accommodations (please read):

You'll need to climb ladder to access the sleeping loft. It's cozy with a cute tiny window to gaze out at the stars, but it is VERY TINY, beware... just enough space to sleep. It fits 2 people if you're comfortable sharing such a small space. There's also a single bed in the living room, which is set up to be used as a couch during the day. No ladder climbing needed! You do need to be under 5'6" tall to fit in the couch bed though... so when I say accommodate 3 (1 of the guests needs to be under 5'6").

Toilet:
One of the nicest compost toilets on the market... no odor whatsoever, and easy to use. It's really not much different from a standard toilet - there's just no need to flush, and the urine goes into a separate hole. Model: Separett Villa, if you want to look it up for more information. (NOTE: toilet will need to be emptied regularly during long term stays. This can be done weekly with additional cleaning fee, or can do yourself if you prefer with guided instruction... it's pretty simple)

Wake in the morning to organic coffee or tea.
I stock the shelves with basic spices and organic food staples, so make yourself at home and enjoy :)

Guest access
You'll have access to the Tiny House and a private side yard including propane powered fire pit, picnic table, lounge chairs, and mini bbq charcoal grill... with grassy space and hammock to hang out too.

There is 1 off street parking space by the house for you to use as well.

Other things to note
With long term stays (30+ days) you will be responsible for keeping the tiny house clean and taking out your own trash as well as refreshing compost toilet (pretty simple but not for poo-phobes)... OR for an extra $40/week my cleaner will take care of it.
Please message with any questions and I'm happy to discuss more details proper to booking.
*Not able to offer any additional discounts beyond 25%/monthly discount rate already posted.

I've found people amazed at how much more spacious the house is than they think 98q feet will be. Curious to hear about your experience and get your feedback. I always love to hear what I can do to improve the space for guests, so don't be shy, let me know what would have improved your stay so I can make it better for the next person. Thanks!

A wonderful urban neighborhood that feels private and cozy while also really close to Asheville happenings... very close to the main Street of Merrimon Ave and the interstate, so easily accessible to just about everything (by bike, bus, car, or on foot).

During your stay
I live in Wisconsin so will not be around during your stay, but my co-host Shannon lives in the main house on site and is available to answer questions and help as she can. You might see her on the property from time to time, but you'll mostly have the space to yourselves... especially with the tiny house having its own private yard space.
