Luxurious, spacious and eclectic is the only description of The Rabbit Warren - this wonderfully re-furbished suite. Encapsulated in a 1925 traditionally built Singaporean shophouse, this is 1 of 3 newly refurbished suites on the 2nd floor of this beautiful traditional building.
Located in the Joo Chiat area on Singapore's East Coast and which has undergone a rapid gentrification.
The room is above a restaurant with the added advantage of having been sound proofed from below to minimize disturbance and yet provide easy access when guests would like to try a meal in the wonderful Rabbit Carrot Gun.
10 minutes from Changi International Airport and 10 minutes from Singapore's CBD (central business district)
Taxis are plentiful and cheap by international standards. Buses are frequent should you choose the communal taxi.
The Joo Chiat / Katong area is a great location from which to explore all that Singapore has to offer or simply as an alternative to staying in soulless business hotels.
Consider The Rabbit Warren as your home away from home whilst in Singapore!!
Maid service can be arranged as well as outside catering for functions

What a wonderful welcome Richard gave us from the beginning. He was standing on the footpath ready to receive our taxi and took us up to our room making us feel like old friends. We loved staying here as it had everything we needed.
We're so pleased we chose to stay here as the best food and drink was downstairs at Richard's establishment or at the best laksa in Singapore over the road. The area has an interesting Peranakan history which seems to be undergoing a revival with various shops and cuisine. When we wanted to travel into the city we went by bus right outside the door which was convenient, cheap and enabled us to see different areas.
Richard and his staff were wonderful...... .answered all our questions and acted as tour advisors all with the benefit of local knowledge. We so loved our morning coffees and breakfast...big thank you to Richard and his attentive friendly staff for making us feel at home.Next time we will definitely stay longer unless RCG becomes so popular there will be no room at the inn!
These guys have a really great place. The bedroom was very nicely done, the restaurant/bar are awesome and the people are cool.
Place was spotlessly clean--cleanest airbnb I have ever stayed in-- and check in/out was a breeze. I saw some reviews mentioned the bar noise--this was not a problem at all. I could hear people talking on the street and some music downstairs, but I didn't fly all the way to Singapore and rent a room over a bar just to go to bed early. It's a long walk to the metro, but it's a short walk to awesome restaurants, a really cool huge park with a fantastic seafood hawker center, great views and good coffee..I would stay here again for sure.
Richard and Trish were great hosts. They were really friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My family and I felt very well taken cared of here and we really enjoyed our stay.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It's much larger than most hotel rooms in Singapore and much nicer too! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay at in Singapore.
I really enjoyed my stay at rabbit carrot gun despite not feeling my best during the trip. The check in/out process was great and hassle free. Good correspondence also with the host before and after the visit. The room is gorgeous and the most comfy bed ever! The besting thing is the location in Katong. For those who suffer from mall or hotel fatigue in singapore this is the best antidote. Amazing neighborhood with proper real shops with Nonyang flavours. Love all the renovated shop houses and local eats Only downside is not the place for super light sleepers as it is above a bustling bistro and pub unless you want to join the fun till at least 1 am. Highly recommended. Although this is more room to sleep rather than the other airbnb experience where I've really interacted with the hosts a great deal during my stay.
The Gun! A favorite for myself and my workmates. Couldn't ask for more in a room.
Another great stay at Rabbit, Carrot, Gun! Best place to stay in Singapore.

Enjoyed saving, refurbishing and re-developing one of Singapore's heritage shophouses so much, decided to go one step further. Refurbishing another 2 shophouses nearby which includes 5 more AirBnB suites and an eclectic modern European restaurant - Rabbit Carrot Gun - and gastro bar - The Trenchard Arms. Been based in Singapore for 12 years, my interests are very broad and include but are not limited to; architecture, interior design, wine, rugby, Scouts.

All wonderful and still my proudest achievement are my two children.
