Need to know
- Master queen room is on the open mezzanine level. Double bedroom downstairs has a closing door
- Being in a bush setting brings with it an abundance of wildlife - you are very likely to encounter possums, kookaburras, kangaroos, echidnas, lizards, insects and other wildlife. Please only choose us if you are comfortable in close proximity to wildlife and prepared to be entirely responsible for your own safety and never feed or approach wildlife
Guest access
We're found in a crown land park of other holiday cottages properties in Wrights Beach. You find us at the end of the village up a gravel track. It's suitable for all vehicles but guests must obey the speed limit and drive carefully.
A small set of steps accesses our deck and entry. Inside there is a steep, narrow staircase to the second mezzanine bedroom which may be tricky for those with mobility limitations and is not recommended for small children. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom still require you to be able to climb a few small steps to the deck.
Other things to note
Please consider whether this property is right for you if you have small children. Inside we have a steep staircase and low balustrade on the mezzanine bedroom. The deck is accessed via steps and there is an open drop from it. Take a good look at the pictures to check it suits you, noting you are responsible for your own safety here and that of fellow guests.
Please note, Jalan Jalan is in a remote village suburb that borders the Booderee National Park. This really is an escape to the beautiful bushland of Jervis Bay, we have nature and tranquillity in bucketloads! You can expect to see a lot of local wildlife from kangaroos to birds to lizards. There is also the potential for snakes to be in this area. Please be very sensible around all wildlife, this is their home and we must not disturb them. Keep a wide berth and ensure children are supervised at all times. Do not feed wild animals and always keep the screen doors to the house shut.
Please note, we also manage the 3 bedroom property next door. If you're travelling with friends / family and want to be close by but have your own space, it is possible to book both properties together.
