The Space

Monti Loft is a studio completely and carefully renovated in March of 2013, located in the characteristic Rione Monti. It consists of one room with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area on the mezzanine. The apartment has two large windows with exterior facing, quiet and quaint.
The renovation, overseen by architect has retained the elements knowledgable of the time as the pitched roof in wood and terracotta tiles, wooden floors and stone elements.
The studio is equipped with air conditioning, heating, Plasma TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
Also, available to customers free Internet connection, Nespresso coffee machine and safe. On request cot and everything you need for the little ones.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge and stove .
The cleaning is also performed daily on request, as well as linen. The service concierge and 24 h 24 h is located a few meters from the studio other structure owned by the operator.
The studio is on the second floor without ascesore of a typical building of Rione Monti.
Finally, and is can be booked for families and / or couples of friends, another studio / apartment that.
I remember the guests that the city of Rome established the city tax of € 2,00 per person, per night and that price must be paid upon arrival in cash.
Thank you.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The booking process was easy as was the check-in to the apartment. The apartment is located within walking distance to the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. There is a taxi stand within 5 mins walking distance to the apartment along with a small supermarket. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable, it felt like home! All basic amenities were included (shampoo, soap, hair dryer, towels, mini-fridge, small kitchen on the loft, packaged croissants, milk, butter, dishware, etc). The apartment had natural lighting when windows on both sides were opened (good cross-breeze too). Heating was adequate (we stayed in mid-Feb 2014 and day time high's were 60-70 deg F). Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone (much more spacious than any 3-4 Star Rome hotel).

  • Good location and the housekeeper is very nice! If we come back to Rome we'll choose this loft again.

  • The Monti loft was probably the best apartment we stayed at in 4 weeks in Italy. It was spacious, bright and airy, well designed, and furnished with nice touches that made it a joy to stay in. The location is central to all the sites in Rome and has good transport access. We were only there for 3 nights, but it would have been fine for 3 weeks. Maria, the housekeeper, is a human dynamo and was extremely helpful. The only downside was that we found out on arrival that we could not stay in the apartment the first night of our 4 night booking due to a plumbing problem and had to stay in Orizio and Silvia's nearby B&B in Via Urbana. The room was very small and it didn't make for a great start. However, Maria managed the situation well and, as promised, moved all our luggage to the apartment while we were out the next day. I guess sometimes these things happen and all you can ask is that the situation is well managed - which it was. We enjoyed our stay in Rome and would stay at Monti loft again.

  • The apartment is as nice as the pictures show, clean modern and just what is needed for a stay in Roma. It’s the perfect size for two
Perfectly placed to access the sights and very close to the Colosseum, its just a short walk from the main Termini train station.
We loved Maria the housekeeper, she was helpful and made us laugh. Thank you for looking after our bags in your B&B around the corner so we could sight see after checking out.
We would highly recommend staying here, great price, great location and great apartment.

  • Our stay in Rome was fantastic. Room was clean and tidy, efficient and easy to contact, Orizio and their house keeper Maria made us very welcome. They were even very helpful when we forgot out passports when leaving, I hope you enjoyed the wine!

Looking forward to our next trip to Rome and staying with you again, big thanks Orizio and Silvia.

  • The Monti apartment was a perfect place to stay in Rome. It is located in a good area, close to lots of shops and restaurants but not too busy. It is, however, a bit of a walk to the major tourists attractions (other than the Colosseum) but we knew this and were not bothered by it. Maria the housekeeper was very accommodating on our arrival despite the language barrier. The apartment is very clean and new. It had great working air conditioning and wifi. The only downside was a miscommunication about our check-out time, so we were rushed out the door without much warning. Orizio and Silvia were very quick with their responses and we are very grateful we could stay in their apartment!

  • This apartment was gorgeous more like a luxury hotel . With the added bonus is of a tiny kitchen. Was very romantic . The kitchen is very basic no micro wave or oven but if organized you can still manage a lovely meal and eat in lovely window nook. Supermarket is close by and all attraction are within walking distance. Easy to find from the main train terminal and Silvia was very prompt in answering calls and emails .. Must also mention her lovely English neighbor who let us use her phone when we ran out of charge. No washing machine but laundry around the corner. We loved this apartment spotlessly clean very stylish and great value would definitely return .

  • This is really the cleanest place I've ever rented. The bathroom is small, but really functional and totally new and clean too. The room has a good bed and it's nicely and aestetically decorated. Very mondern and designer-like.

It's situated in Monti, a very autentical Roman place in Rome, and from here you can easily reach all the monuments, famous buildings, the area Trastevere with all it's cafe's and restaurant by foot - and the Termini-station is only 10 minutes walk away.

In the night it is nice and calm. No noise at all.

Really a wonderful appartement, with a tiny coffekitchen and Nespresso-maschine - under the roof.

We can highly recommend the place!!!

The owner is very informative and kind and answers all Your mails nearly immediately.

  • I'll be doing the review in spanish, because I think there is no other in this language.
