With its prime location, Oystercatcher selfcatering is the perfect base to explore Cape Town’s attractions or simply to enjoy beach time!

In addition, guests with electric vehicles can make use of the charging station during day time.

The space
Unit A is a one-bedroom with a double bed and spacious built-in cupboards. A sunblock blind ensures late sleep-ins, and a smart fan is available if no sea breeze is present.
Right next to the bedroom, there is a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub and a separate modern shower.
Separate from the bedroom, there is an open-plan living space with a smart TV and Netflix, a double sleeper couch, a large counter, a small dining table for 2, and a lovely fireplace!
We do steam cleaning of cushions, pillows, matress, shower, etc.
This living space also has a fully equipped kitchen, that include an induction stove and airfryer oven. The living room leads to a private patio with an additional dining table and barbecue facilities. An extensive solar power system ensures a continuous power supply. Electric blankets and a wall-mounted heater make winter stays comfortable, and a smart fan is provided for summer. Unit A also offer guests with electric vehicles the opportunity to charge for free during daytime.

Guest access
A key and remote are in a secure key box at the motor gate.
Guest access is via the property's main gate. The hosts also use this gate. However, unit A has its entrance with an outside staircase.

We are now able to offer guests with electric cars the option to charge their cars for free thanks to our large solar system that also ensures no load shedding/power outages.

Strand North is the safest, cleanest, and best part of Strand. Our street is not as busy and noisy as Beach Road, yet very close to the beach. Guests can enjoy long walks along our unspoiled, safe beach or a stroll along Lourens River.
