Miriam was a great and accommodating host. She was very fast in replying to messages and had the apartment ready for early arrival. The apartment is as described and was fully equipped and clean. Taking cab for downtown is a good idea.
Miriam was an absolute doll! Very helpful and a great host! Definitely would recommend this place for your next visit. Comfy beds, close to the hot spots of New Orleans, and stocked with everything you could need.
I was very pleased with the hospitality of the place. It was cozy but not too small and exactly as described. Not to far from attractions. Had no problems at all while we were there! A wonderful experience for my first time using AirBnB.
Such an amazing trip! The house was beautiful and a quick drive or ride to the French quarter and many other places. It was a nice quiet place to come home to at the end of each busy day. The house itself is adorable. Shotgun style with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood. The porch outside was a nice place to sit and enjoy the weather. Miriam was a gracious host and even met us outside on our arrival to explain the key and ask if we needed any help locating places or things to do. Was overall a wonderful stay. Thank you!
We needed a last minute place to stay and Our host was very accommodating, the space was as described and well located for a quick drive to the French quarter. I would recommend this place.
We arrived in New Orleans a day earlier than we originally planned. Although the apartment was not available Miriam did went out of her way to have it available before the scheduled check in time.
The apartment lies in a safe neighbourhood and is well located for exploring both the French quarter and City Park where the beautiful Besthoff sculpture garden is found.
There are grocery stores within walking distance (two very near the Fair Grinds Coffee house) - a boon for anyone shopping for food to accommodate a special diet. The kitchen has all the necessities, although I would have appreciated a pair of kitchen scissors. The only other thing we missed was a bedside reading light.
Hi, I'm Miriam and I would like to start out by saying how thankful I am for all my past and future Airbnb guests. It has been such a wonderful experience meeting just wonderful, caring and inspiring people from all over the world. Even though I have not had the chance to spend much time with most of my guests I really do appreciate the impressions I get and the energy you bring... I want you to feel at home and comfortable and have a great time here.
About myself I grew up in Germany, living in New Orleans for about 17 years now. I like animals, nature, reading, learning, sports and all the things that are fun and good in life.
