This newly renovated accommodation was once 'The Snug' of The Gate Pub, a drinking establishment that could tell a tale or two. It is said that one of the world's 'greatest' drinkers, Oliver Reed, was barred from the pub when filming Women In Love on location at nearby New Street. The stylish spaces are an absolute treat for two yet can easily accommodate up to six for a multiple night stay. It is a great choice for families and if you are a larger group check out our Glamping Rooms next door.
The space
A private entrance gate leads down some stone steps to a small covered court yard. To the left are two doors leading to a newly renovated, luxury shower room and a separate cosy toilet. To the right is the entrance, via a lobby, to the spacious double room which includes 4 extra singles allowing for a maximum of 6 guests. The spacious room includes a kitchenette, breakfast bar with six stools and social area equipped with 42" smart tv, games, books and beanbags for guests use.

An outdoor luxury heated shower room.
A heated cosy outdoor toilet.
A stylish studio apartment with double bed (and four singles), a kitchenette and social area with breakfast bar, book corner and tv.
Other things to note
Being part of our private hire venue there is the possibility of some noise when we are hosting an event. Occasional street noise may also occur from people using our neighbouring businesses. The property is on a junction meaning some road noise will be audible. Please also note the bathroom and toilet are located separately from the main living space. Just four steps under an enclosed canopy, 2 x sets of dressing gowns and slippers are provided. Please request to stay before booking if you are an all adult group and be aware we will ask for a refundable damages/cleaning deposit of £100.
