The space
Built by cyclists for cyclists but this is one for all to enjoy! This unique property blends a charming downtown exterior with a stylish modern interior. Often drawing comparison to Scandinavian design, its plentiful natural light, wood birch walls and vaulted ceilings exude airiness throughout. It comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and a center island that opens up to more living space. Whether discussing the trails or planning some other adventure, it is the perfect gathering place. Adjacent we offer a desk/workspace, full-size washer/dryer closet. A private bedroom with a queen-size bed connects direct to the bathroom. We also offer a full-size pull out bed and big screen TV. Of course staying true to "Air"bnb's humble beginnings.....we offer consumer reports #1 ranked queen air mattress. Believe it or not after a day on the trail it's quite satisfying.

Guest access
Prior to check-in you will receive a unique four-digit access code for the front door keypad. Guests have access to the entire home, porch, patio, front yard areas.

Other things to note
We ask all pet owners to please clean up and dispose of any waste. In addition we ask that the yard area is restored to its original condition before check-out.

EV charging usage is monitored using the charge point app. The cost of electricity is the guest’s responsibility and we please ask that payment is made prior to check out. We can do this several ways, whatever is easiest for you the guest.

Neighborhood highlights

Downtown Fruita has blossomed into a thriving community and while it continues to develop all types of tourism opportunities, few can compare with the bicycle. Cycling isn't new to Fruita, in fact it's been developing for 40yrs. In that time we have witnessed some of the best riding trails in the world being built in Western Colorado. Fruita's love affair with bicycling is woven into its culture, finding its way into daily business, the arts and even the food. It has become so prevalent its developed into a lifestyle choice for many. There is a reason why neighboring Grand Junction's most popular riding area is called the "Lunch Loops". Its not uncommon to ride a trail on your lunch break and head back to work. However there is far more to offer than just biking. There are fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and breweries all just around the corner. The art scene is alive in Fruita so be sure to check my guest guide for a list of places to visit. Also, we must not forget dinosaurs as they predate the bicycle era by only a few hundred million years. See the guest guide for more info.

My work: Building/design/art
Most useless skill: Making music with just a blade of grass.
I'm a Colorado native passionate about exploring outdoors, from mountains to rivers. With 20 years' experience in creative building, I combine artistry with construction. I value kindness and diverse views, thrive on nature, good food, wine, and enjoy biking, rafting, snowboarding, and traveling both locally and globally. My love for travel began in childhood adventures with family, and now I seek out new places, people, and cultures wherever I go.
