St. Augustine, the oldest city in Florida, is only 35 miles south of Neptune Beach and a great place to walk along cobblestone streets, enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride or spend the afternoon at the Alligator Farm and look up! A variety of birds may be seen in the trees above the alligators, building their nests, feeding their chicks and some of us have been lucky enough to actually watch them hatch! Great for photographers!
Come visit beautiful North Florida!
Please be respectful of my property. I love my house and you will, too!
Smoking is allowed in the downstairs screened porch or outside.
This place is a treasure! First and foremost, Marsha was a most gracious, helpful and generous host- thank you so much for taking such good care of us in your lovely house.
When we arrived we were welcomed with a bottle of wine. Each morning Marsha made us perfect French press coffee, and every day there was fresh fruit, snacks and water available. One night she even invited us to share some great homemade chili. She loaned us beach chairs, towels, even hats. She was always helpful, but never intrusive- we had as much privacy as we wanted but Marsha was available when needed.
The guest space is very comfortable and super clean- and much more than just a bedroom. There is comfortable, firm bed in the bedroom , a separate sitting room, a private bath, and a lovely private screened porch that looks out on the spectacular tropical garden. Very peaceful and private. The house location was very convenient to beaches (10 minute drive), shops and restaurants.
We had a terrific stay and hope to return next year.
What a great place to stay! The neighborhood was quiet and the property was very jungle like. The house was clean and comfortable. Marsha had great recommendations for food and other activities. We really enjoyed our time there and plan to go back.
What more can I say after spending time with Marsha and her BnB in Neptune Beach. This was our fourth or fifth stay this fall and winter and as always everything was wonderful.of course we plan to stay again. Max is an excellent hostess; the neighborhood is safe and pleasant and quiet
Marsha's Neptune Beach tree house was really beautiful, inside and out. A real "hidden" oasis, but very close to Jacksonville and especially the area beaches. The room and living area for guests was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. And, Marsha was such a wonderful host! We were welcomed like family members and she shared so many good recommendations about the area. I couldn't have asked for any more. Highly recommend.
Description of listing was perfect! I was familiar with the area and the neighborhood was delightful! Marsha wasn't there when I arrived; however, made sure that I had contact information if needed. Everything was perfect.
I absolutely loved all of the green trees and fauna! Staying here was like a much needed oasis and the space was very serene! Marsha was a great host!
Once again (the fourth time in the last month) we spent a delightful night at the comfy treehouse in Neptune Beach.Marsha as always was a new engaging and gracious hostess and we would certainly return. We plan to return in January. The neighborhood is quiet, Serene, and safe. Amenities are available in the area. They have no qualms about recommending this to any other individual or individuals
