Free your spirit on this charming, rustic horse farm. PRIVATE second floor apartment, 1BR, 1BA with kitchenette and living room. Keyless and private entry. Perfect for unplugging and recharging.

The space
Find peace and quiet on this 5 acre retreat located in the Saddlebred capital of the world. Three horses live on the property who will lovingly come up to the fence for a carrot and a photo op. If they aren't in the front field, feel free to walk down the driveway to the back or side field for a visit!

Guest access
You will have full access to the completely private apartment on the second floor. I live in the main part of the house.

I’m happy to host same-day stays when possible. Please note reservations must be made by 8:00 PM, as I’m unable to accommodate late evening bookings after that time.

Other things to note
Located 10 min from I-64 and 60 miles from Lexington KY, home of the KY Horse Park, and just 33 miles from the infamous Churchill Downs. Downtown Shelbyville is a quick 10 min drive with quaint restaurants and shops. Happy treasure hunting in the many antique shops!

**Please be aware that the horses may not be in the pasture directly behind the house due to the need of pasture maintenance and allowing the fields to not be over grazed. If they are not in the front field, they are in the back field behind the barn, or a side field to the left of barn. You are more than welcome to walk down to the barn for a visit.

**This is a farm... in the country. More wildlife, coyotes, deer, and bugs are much more abundant.

**For the security of my guests and the safety of my home, I have an external security Ring Camera at the back of the house that points at a door that enters the garage, guests do not have access unless you walk to the backside of my garage. There is also a Ring Doorbell located at the front door.
