  • Evelyn is a wonderful host. She is very easy to contact and responds very quickly. Evelyn made sure all of her guests were properly accommodated for.
My stay with Evelyn was absolutely perfect. The house is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Vermont, and the home is perfect for couples, and even big families.
Evelyn made sure there was breakfast for all of her guests. Her home is filled with books and movies.
Watch the sunrise on the porch with a great cup of coffee, cozy up next to the fire and enjoy her delicious quiche, and roll around in the snow during the winter months.
I definitely recommend her home to anyone looking for a real Vermont experience- and a great one, at that!

  • Great weekend here. Evelyn was helpful and accommodating.
Room was clean and large. Bathrooms were clean. Property is very pretty. There is a cat, and the cat is pretty great.
We went there to go snowboarding in Killington, and the drive between house and slopes was a bit long, but nothing that we didn't expect. Just something to keep in mind.
You will end up with at least 6 jars of pickles and jams by the end of your stay. You've been warned :)

  • Evelyn welcomed me with just the warmth I needed. I had come to Royalton for a friend's funeral service and here was the perfect place to stay. Quiet, beautiful views, a delightful host, and yummy quiche for breakfast. So glad to have discovered this B&B just when and were I needed it.

  • Had a great stay while visiting the law school. Ms. Evelyn was a great hostess and the room was comfortable and charming. I especially enjoyed the quiche I had for breakfast and the companionship in the evening in front of the wood stove.

  • We loved this beautiful farmhouse and those cows. Evelyn is a great host and very welcoming; makes you feel at home away from home. She told us so much about her home and her family. Breakfast was great; homemade quiche and pie - yummy.
    Thanks for an unforgettable stay.

  • Evelyn is a gracious host that wants to be helpful and address your needs. She is a very interesting person. The quiche at breakfast is to die for. The grounds are stunning. The farmhouse is charming, but part of the old farm charm is "the old " which means the bathrooms are adequate, but a little bit "roughing it "
I would recommend this as a memorable worthwhile experience.

  • We really loved this place! It felt like home with a fire when we came back from a hike and homemade quiche for breakfast. A great view over the mountains from every window of the house and close to great hike or ski trails. Evelyn is a very warm person and can tell you a lot about the area or just a chat!

  • A remarkable, storybook place. A lovely experience. Evelyn is a delightful hostess, seeing to and anticipating our every need. We all want to go back soon. Royalton Vermont, a sweet little Vermont town that seems somehow apart from the corporatized world of the 21st century.

    Response from Evelyn:

Thank you Jeffrey and your companions for becoming members of the family. I can hardly wait until you are able to return. Thanks also for the lesson in English Tea. Whenever you get the chance to come again the tea kettle will be on the boil.
