The beautiful medieval towns of Chania (20 minutes) and Rethimno (40 minutes) are perfect destinations by car – just as the famous beaches of Balos, Elafonisi or Preveli (each 90 minutes) or the sweet water lake Kournas (20 minutes).

Chania International Airport is just a 25 minutes drive.

At Apokoronas peninsula there are brand new hiking trails that let you enjoy its amazing nature all year round - especially as temperatures even in winter barely drop below 10 degrees Celsius.
