The space
JJ’s Retreat is nestled in a quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown Bryan. It's only 4 miles to Texas A&M and to the Brazos County Expo Center as well.
We’re Aggie-owned and operated, and we love hosting Aggies, Aggie families, and Aggie fans.

This fully renovated home features an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living area. JJ's Retreat offers plenty of space for gathering to eat, play games, watch movies, drink your favorite cocktails/beverages, and share quality time.

🥱 A white noise machine is provided in each bedroom for light sleepers… to mask inside and outside disturbances
***We also have a new pack-and-play and queen size folding foam mattress located in the master closet. (The queen size foam mattress is a nice alternative to the sofa bed for taller guests.)

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
To maintain the quality environment of the home for you and future guests, we will be accepting booking requests from guests who meet these criteria:
ℹ️ Airbnb users who are "verified" and have a history of positive reviews from other hosts
ℹ️ Renters who are age 25 and older
ℹ️ A maximum of 7 guests
*PARTIES/EVENTS*
We value our relationship with our neighbors, so events/gatherings/parties are not to be held by guests. This is to ensure the home is kept in excellent condition for you and future guests as well. Thank you for understanding.
🚭 This is a NON-SMOKING facility. Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, cannabis) is NOT allowed. If our cleaning crew reports any signs of cigarettes or vaping (smell, ash, cigarette butts, etc.) in or around the home, an additional $300 cleaning fee will be incurred.
PETS:
1️⃣ 1 small-medium sized dog is allowed.
2️⃣ Please ensure you indicate you’re bringing a pet when you book your stay as an additional cleaning fee needs be applied to your reservation so that our cleaning team can be compensated accordingly.
PET RULES:
🐶 Dog is to be crated if left in the home unattended.
🐾 Please do not allow your dog on the furniture or beds. While pet hair/dander probably doesn't bother you, future guests may not be pet-lovers and they might even be allergic. So please be courteous and help us provide a 5 star experience for you and future guests.
🐕🦺 For the safety of you, your dog, and a neighborhood full of walkers, dog must be on a leash when leaving the property outside of the fenced-in area.
💩 Of course, clean up after your dog both inside as well as in the yard.
➡️ Any damage caused by pet will incur an additional fee commensurate with the cost of repairs.
**WHEN ARRIVING**
The neighbors immediately adjacent have 2 small dogs that bark when they hear new people approaching. Thus you will likely hear them barking upon arrival. Rest assured there’s a new and fully private fence in place. Also, while the dogs may sound aggressive at first, we’ve found they adjust to new noises and settle down quickly.
*SHARED DRIVEWAY*
JJ’s Retreat Main House is attached to a Garage Apartment that’s a separate Airbnb listing so you may have “neighbors” nearby. Rest assured, the house and studio each have their own entrance and fenced yard and the only shared space is the driveway parking. We just like to make sure you’re aware of this ahead of your stay.

We’ll send a message with the key code for the kitchen door smart lock on the morning of your arrival.
The main house, front yard, fenced side yard, LEFT side of the driveway, and left side yard patio are all available to guests of JJ’s Retreat (Main House).
The garage is NOT accessible as it is a separate studio apartment with its own entrance.
Other things to note
There are so many things to see and do in Aggieland such as kayaking on Lake Bryan, shopping at the Brazos Valley Farmer's Market, touring a wild animal safari, strolling in downtown Bryan, or grabbing a bite to eat at a wide variety of restaurants. Midtown Park and Big Shots Golf are both minutes away.
Of course the most popular attraction is football games at Kyle field. But even if Aggie football isn't bringing you to town, the Century Tree, the Bonfire Memorial, and the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum are must see points of interest on the A&M campus.
***Note: If you are bringing infants/babies, the house is not baby-proofed. (Furniture is not secured to walls, outlet blockers are not included, cabinets/drawers are not locked, etc.)
