Stayed as an adult family of 5. Vicki gave us a warm welcome with pre dinner drinks on her deck by a picturesque stream. House was very spacious and comfortable and really nicely decorated. We were thoroughly pampered. Great base for Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Stirling.
Given the number of rave reviews Vicki has already scored, we hardly need to add one of our own. The house was even more beautiful than in pictures. The abundant homecooked breakfast each morning was delicious, the rushing river in the backyard soothing, Vicki and her various pets welcoming and simply lovely. We were sorry to leave and continue to suffer withdrawal symptoms to this day.
Our heartfelt thanks to Vicki for her hard work in making our stay at Loch Lomond a flawless one.
I was at Vicki's place with 7 friends. We liked our stay a lot. The place itself very peaceful and picturesque - house has a verandah just above the small river. Vicki is very welcoming person and she makes such a great breakfasts. We even had a chance to try local black pudding!
There were only one mistake made by us. We didn't listened to Vicki's advice and asked to host all 8 of us. The problem is that one room has private bathroom and big enough to have 3 beds inside, while other room where we've stayed is not very big and 3 beds stay very closely inside - it also has no private bathroom. So think twice before you decide to stay 8 people.
Anyway even 8 people were happy to be there! I would stay there again in group of 8 people if I'll have a chance.
This is a lovely and wonderful place! There have a creek behind the house, my friend and I really enjoy staying here. Not far from loch lomond. Thank you vicki!
The moment we arrived we were made to feel at home. Vicki was very hospitable - making us fresh coffee, pouring us glasses of wine and providing a lovely birthday cake for my boyfriend's birthday. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a beautiful view of the stream below. Her home was gorgeous - ideal to come back to after a day of being outdoors. We would definitely come back and stay - thank you for a wonderful weekend.
