Vicki is a great host, very interesting, and a wonderful cook! The house was clean and peaceful with an amazing view of a creek right out the backyard. There was easy communication with my last minute booking. There is a restaurant/pub nearby if you don't have a car, and there are some really great hikes not to far away. Highly recommend!
We only stayed for one night because we are on a roadtrip. But this short stay was like coming home.
Vicki was such a good host and we felt like Scotish kings.
Beautiful house, beautiful rooms and a lovely breakfast.
Next time we will stay longer!
Our stay at Vicki's B&B was amazing! She was extremely helpful the whole time we were there and didn't mind my two crazy puppies tagging along with us (Great Dane and Border Collie)! The area is nice and quiet and it's not too far of a drive from Loch Lomond or some of the major cities! We would stay here again, without a doubt.
Vicki is an absolutely wonderful host, I always enjoy staying with her! The house is lovely, right by the stream, with beautiful views and sounds to accompany breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. She makes me feel right at home and provides a very comfortable stay. I even enjoyed a delicious home cooked dinner on my last night! Also have a soft spot for the roaring fire - with a book, glass of wine and her cat Missy! - in her open lounge...
We absolutely LOVED being at Vicki's home. It was a home from home experience and the warm welcome and caring hosting makes this address a must. The setting is beautiful, the home is cosy and beautifully decorated. Thank you for such a memorable stay- we loved being with you and little Daisy (hug to her please)
When we next come to scotland we shall come back again .

Vicki has a lovely house in a beautiful spot overlooking the river and woods. We needed somewhere to stay at the last minute, and she very kindly took our booking. We couldn't have asked for anything more - great host, comfy bed and big breakfast. And some very amusing chickens...
Everything about our stay with Vicki and her daughter Daisy was wonderful. Their house, which is in a stunning location, is beautiful and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed; breakfasts were a real highlight; and we spent plenty of time just relaxing in front of the fire. The most impressive thing about our stay was Vicki's generosity and thoughtfulness. After a whimsical conversation about our love of skiing, and - giving us a heads up on the poor weather he next day - Vicki suggested we take a trip to Glen Coe, where we had a fantastic day's skiing kitted out head to toe in her ski gear, armed with an exhaustive list of places to see and eat along the way. She really left no stone unturned in finding things for us do. And she was lovely to come home to every evening for a glass of wine and a chat. A true and balanced hostess. We will definitely be returning to Old Mill Cottage. We also fell in love with her friendly cat, Missy, who is always up for a cuddle. Thanks for a great holiday.
Vicky was a great host! Her home was beautiful she made us feel right at home. There was a great selection for breakfast and she gave us some good advise on what to do in the area. The location has some stunning views and lovely local farm shops for all you foodies!!
Defiantly recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a laid back break.
Marvelous house and host. We've been greeted in the middle of the night with delicious tea and cake. There is a fireplace and river right behind balcony, you can hear its lovely sound inside. After few hours ride from north of Scotland I was able to relax instantly. This is the one of the places you want to come back.
Vicky's house is beautiful and we had a wonderful time there. The room is cosy and warm, the breakfast is amazing (with fresh eggs from the chicken in the garden). Vicky was really nice and helpful, she gave us the best recommendations about sightseeing, restaurants and pubs. Stay there if you want to visit the Loch Lomond and Trossachs region!
