Up to four re-styled cosy French cottages available for holiday rental. Ideal for larger family and friend's bookings, when you would like to have separate accommodation but be on the same site. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, a beer warehouse and a local market. You can choose to stay on site or venture out and take part in one of the many local activities on offer, including activity lakes and the Rejallant Canoeing Centre.
The space
Situated in the grounds of what was once part of the old Chateau estate, our cottages offer a little haven of tranquillity; a place where you will be able to relax, have fun and make those precious memories. The two and a half acres of walled garden and woodland includes a beautiful clear stream running through an ancient lavoir, with plenty of space for relaxation and garden games. We have a lovely aboveground pool, 5m diameter, 1.2m deep, installed in 2023, perfect to cool down in on a hot summers day. You will also have access to a boules area, BBQ, hammocks, an outside kitchen with indoor dining space and canopied dining terrace with fire pit. Every day you could wake up to the sound of birdsong, a running stream and the local church bells in the distance.

The cottages accommodate up to 15 including all children, infants and babies, ideally, a maximum of 12 adults. You would have exclusive use of the site and all facilities. The property is securely gated and there is space for parking four cars on site.
Bumblebee Cottage sleeps 3, one double and one single bedroom, bathroom with shower and additional downstairs WC. Direct access to terrace overlooking gardens. Electric heating.
Garden View Cottage sleeps up to 5/6. A large twin room and large double room with king size bed, adjoining dressing room with a day bed and could accommodate an extra Z bed for small child if needed. This room has a balcony over looking the gardens. Downstairs bathroom with shower, upstairs WC, large kitchen and large living space. Direct access to outside terrace overlooking gardens. Electric heating and two log burners.
Sunflower Cottage sleeps four, one double and one twin room. Upstairs bathroom with shower and downstairs WC, kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Access to terrace and gardens through shared hallway. Electric heating.
Lavender Cottage sleeps 4, large double bedroom with king size bed accessed via an adjoining twin room. This adjoining twin room would ideally be suited for two young children. This twin bedded room has no external window but does have natural light coming from the large king size room and from adjacent landing sky light. Upstairs bathroom with luxury bath . Please note this cottage does NOT have a shower. Group bookings may benefit from using a shower in one of the other cottages. Kitchen, large dining room and living space. Downstairs WC. Front door leads to a very quiet, access only, street. Electric heating and cosy log burner in dining room.
Sunflower and Lavender Cottages have access to a covered terrace and extensive gardens via shared hallway which also has additional dining space if needed for a group booking.
Anna and Ian live on site to ensure a friendly welcome and will be available should you need anything. You will occasionally see us checking the pool and maintaining, accessing and leaving the site via a shared drive way.
Guest access
Apart from the hosts' private accommodation, guests will have access to the whole grounds and facilities, including woodland. Access may be limited to woodland, pool and outside kitchen during inclement weather and seasonal shutdown.
