Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Some info has been automatically translated.
From the bed of our Aviation Suite, you will look through the gable window of the renovated 1940's Cape Dutch house over the wetlands to Noordhoek beach and Kommetjie.
The room has a King-size extra-long bed and a children's sleeper couch.

Cat lovers will be in their element with the dog-like Siberian cats in the common areas.

We run the property on solar with batteries, so no power outages.

Exceptionally quiet and sheltered from the South Easterly wind makes this a perfect location.

The space
Located against the Noordhoek mountain, this 8000sqm property has an unobstructed view over the wetlands to Noordhoek beach and the ocean. The back of the property borders on Silver Mine nature reserve and has a small natural pond and wild fynbos.

Despite being 3Km away from the ocean, one can clearly hear the waves. As there is very little ambient light in this part of Noordhoek, star gazing is spectacular on clear nights and should not be missed.

The guest room is located on the first floor of the Cape Dutch house and has its own access from the parking.

The double bed sleeper couch is only suitable for children.

Guest access
Guest can access the ground floor of the Cape Dutch house by coming down a short set of stairs. Most of the ground floor is accessible to guests, as is the patio and all of the gardens.

Other things to note
Since the kitchenette doesn’t have a sink, we provide daily service to replace any used cutlery and plates with clean ones, and we’ll also top up your water bottles, rusks, and other consumables as needed.

Our cats roam freely on the ground floor of the Cape Dutch house and in the enclosed garden, making this a perfect spot for cat lovers. We have Siberian cats that are hypoallergenic and have dog-like personalities.

Outside of those hours, guests are welcome to interact with the cats. Please note, the garden is secured with double or triple-entry gates to keep our cats safe and inside.

Where you’ll be

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Noordhoek, is the northern corner of the southern suburbs, which attracts many artists, horse riders (one can ride on the beach) and people who love tranquillity and nature.

Close to all amenities, it is very much an 'out in the country' feeling. With many hiking trails within walking distance and dozens more within a 15 minute driving radius, this is perfect for nature lovers.

The Noordhoek farm village is a 10 minute walk away and has a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as a food market every Wednesday evening, open until 20:00. Café Roux has live music or comedy Thursdays to Sundays, check online for events.

Cape Point Vineyards is a wine farm, restaurant and wedding venue within 5 minutes walk, next to us on the mountain. Every Thursday they also have a food market open until 20:30.

The drive the shopping centre is 5 minutes, Fish Hoek is less than 10 minutes and Kalk Bay, where the best restaurants are, less than 15 minutes.
Outside of rush-hour traffic the centre of Cape Town is a 35 minute drive away, using the M3 highway.

Chapmans Peak Drive is a must see for every first-time visitor and is the longer way to Cape Town, providing the only high view of the 4km long Noordhoek beach and great views of Hout Bay. There are many stopping points along this route.
