Super quiet historic neighborhood minutes from the excitement (and noise) of Lower Broadway! Soft comfy queen size pillow top mattress, dozens of local restaurants within walking distance as well as Richland Creek Greenway. Originally a 1930's radio shop completely renovated. We've maintained Superhost status for almost 10 years. Check out the reviews you won't want to miss this one!

The space
Originally a radio repair shop dating back to the 1930's. We have retained the character and charm while completely remodeling. Super comfortable queen bed and kitchen/living room. Sylvan Park Neighborhood has a quaint and hip vibe, is within walking distance to dozens of great restaurants (including Edley's, and Hattie B's, a popular destination for Nashville's Hot Chicken!) yet is only a few miles from Broadway, Vanderbilt, The Gulch, major stadiums and all parts of downtown.

Please read the reviews from our wonderful guests. They consistently appreciate the comfy bed, the cute neighborhood, easy access to Nashville's offerings and a quiet respite to return to after the sights have been exhausted. You will love this location!

There is an unadvertised bonus feature as well, the upstairs portion of the building (completely separate from the rental) contains a writing space where many country music hits have been written and recorded by dozens of major country artists. Don't worry about the noise however, its soundproofed and Greg doesn't write up there in the evenings. It's only used on the occasional weekday and is always vacant at night. However, if you're lucky enough to be home during a beautiful weekday afternoon, you just might be the first to hear a new hit being written through an open window or have a star sighting! Now if that's not a Nashville experience we don't know what is!

Guest access
The rental includes off-street driveway for 2 cars. This space has one bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, and a living/ kitchen area with a couch and television. An inflatable full size air bed is available upon request. There is access to a front porch and front yard.

Other things to note
Local persons may NOT have guests on the property (ie: no parties,sorry). Please send a request if you are booking for someone other than yourself with details before booking . Thanks

Neighborhood highlights

We are in Sylvan Park, a lovely downtown neighborhood with lots of trees, old homes and great local restaurants within walking distance including the famous Hattie B's Chicken, Edley's BBQ, Slow and Low BBQ Bistro, Park Cafe, Star Bagel, Cafe Nonna Italian, Miel Restaurant, Chaatable, Headquarters Coffee, the local favorite Wendell's Meat and 3, Bobby's Dairy Dip, McCabe's Pub, M.L. Rose Pub and Restaurant, and more!
We also have a 3.8 mile paved greenway that runs along the beautiful Richland Creek and McCabe Golf Course. The Greenway is a loop that connects our neighborhood with all the restaurants and shopping on Whitebridge Avenue. There are bike rental stations all around Nashville and one located just a few blocks from our house so you can pick up a bike and ride the Greenway or ride downtown, your choice!
We are 4.2 miles from Broadway Avenue (the honkytonks), where you can visit the Hall Of Fame Museum, Hard Rock Cafe, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, the historic Ryman Auditorium, the Johnny Cash Museum, The Goo Goo's factory/store, Jacks Famous BBQ, The Titans Stadium and tons of other downtown attractions.
Sylvan Park is very quiet and residential. It's very walkable and a great break from the traffic and commotion of the tourist district. In less than 10 minutes you can be right in the middle of all the downtown activity, or on the beautiful greenway enjoying a slow flowing Tennessee creek listening to birds and seeing hawks fly overhead.
