The space
Welcome to the Escape at Eagle Rock. This luxury cabin has all the comforts of home in an environment that once you arrive you will never want to leave. Relax on the outdoor stone patio in the comfortable outdoor couch and chaise lounges as you give thought to hiking up the nearby trail to Eagle Rock for a unsurpassed view of Lake Tahoe! You’ll be hard pressed to spot a neighboring house as the seclusion this location offers is very private. Inside, step back in time as you enter to the old Tahoe charm that’s been upgraded with elegant modern touches. There’s a beautiful stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings in the living room, with an adjoining sun room designed for relaxing and lounging as you take in the views of Eagle Rock.

Bedroom Set Up:


The Main Bedroom has a King bed with a TV and bathroom. The bedroom has a smaller office space. The bed does have a remote to adjust. (4 bedrooms with the 4th bedroom being accessed through the main bedroom with bathroom).

The Second Bedroom has 2 Twins. There is also a closet inside this room with a washer and dryer. This room is off the Main Bedroom upstairs.

The Third Bedroom has a Queen and TV. This shares a bathroom with the adjacent room. The bathroom is in the hallway.


The Fourth Bedroom has 2 Twins. This also shares the lower bathroom with the queen bedroom. The bathroom is in the hallway.

Sunroom:
The sunroom has a built in couch, and a 70" tv with views of eagle rock.



Main Living:
The living room features a big stone wood burning fireplace.

Hot Tub:
There is a hot tub on the patio. The hot tub captures the full view of the Rock.

HIking:
Wander out the back door & you're a minutes from the top of Eagle Rock, offering spectacular views of Lake Tahoe.

Blackwood Canyon entrance is 300 yards away. It is one of the top destinations in Tahoe. A great place to snowmobile, 4 wheel, hike or ride your bike.

Coffee:
We supply a coffee Machine that is commercial grade. It is better and any coffee station you can find at a Lodge. It is a Jura. it has a milk container that steams milk.

Guest access
Lake Access-
The Lake is right across the street from our house. There is a public pier that you can star gaz on or take a chair out to at night or day. The beach area is rocky but the water is deep and great for swimming- bring lunch to the picnic tables & BBQ's.

Bike Path-
The Tahoe paved biking paths runs right in front of the home offering biking access to Tahoe City, the Truckee River and all the way up to Olympic Valley along the Truckee River.

Other things to note
-All rentals in Tahoe are not allowed to play any kind of MUSIC outside. It is a ordinance for all Lake Tahoe Rentals.

-At night we are required to whisper after 8:30pm when OUTSIDE.

-MAX people allowed at this home is 8 total at all times.

-Max car parking is 3 but if you have a 4th car and if they are all small cars it will fit.

-The Fire season is here and the county will no longer allow us to have outdoor fires.


- We do require the hot tub waiver to be signed prior to check in. We can email it prior to check-in via docusign or simply print and send them back to the Airbnb inbox.

We are close to the lake (right across the road), Homewood ski area, Obexers Marina, Sunnyside Resort, Eagle Rock and Blackwood Canyon. Tahoe City is only 5 miles away. 2 minutes to Homewood Ski area, 15 minutes to Squaw/Alpine and 25 minutes to Northstar. Its just a great place to play and relax year round. There is a complete home sound system, gaming system and TV's in all the rooms. There is a grand wood burning fireplace in the living room and a free standing wood burning stove inside the sunroom. The kitchen is fully stock with every cook gadget you would ever need.
