De Mast near Fort Vechten,a working farm,situated in the fertile area near the Kromme Rijn, pretty near Utrecht for 1-7 guests. Ultimate enjoyment of everything farmlife has to offer.Directly from the farm you have a perfect view of the surrounding farmlands.Big oak trees align the path.There’s also a spacious terrace and your own private a lounge sofa.Of course you can enjoy the peaceful quietness,but you can also go hiking,cycling,canoeing along the Kromme Rijn,stroll along the Utrecht canals.

The space
Surrounded by lovely countryside, close to Utrecht’s city life, we rent part of our farmhouse as a holiday apartment. We offer you a spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen suite, a lavatory, bathroom with shower, two bedrooms with king-sized double beds and one bedroom with two single beds , part of our lucious flower garden and a big terrace with a comfortable lounge sofa.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction plate, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A small freezer is available in case of a longer stay. For a small compensation your laundry can be done for you. During summer a BBQ is availalble.

The guestroom is fully equipped for your comfort, so you only need to bring your own personal belongings. Breakfast is not included.

BnB, Bed and Bath, farmhouse De Mast

Article 1: These terms and conditions are intended for guests of BnB De Mast in Bunnik, called “tennant” from now on. The hosts, called “owner”, make sure that the accomodation is in good order at the arrival of the “tennants”. The tennant will receive the keys from the owner and makes sure to return the keys at the end of the stay.

Article 2: The tennant agrees to inhabit the guest areas as can be expected and leave the property reasonably clean. Any damage must be reported to the owner(s) within a day after the tennant’s departure.

Article 3: The tennant treats and handles amentities and devices the normal way. Should anything accidentally break without this being reported to the owner, then the owner owes compensation from the tennant.

Article 4: The owner cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage to personal belongings of the tennant or due to unforeseen circumstances (like f.e. bad weather, a temporary breakdown of the internet connection or anything like that).

Article 5: We rent bicycles and child seats can also be rented.

Article 6: We can place indoor and outdoor toys for children. Please let us know if you would like to use it.

Artikel 7: Smoking in-doors is strictly prohibited. Possible extra costs because of smoking will be passed on to the tennants. One is allowed to smoke outdoors. It is also forbidden to light candles inside.

Article 8: Pets are not allowed on the property!

Article 9: Check-in from 3:00 p.m. Check-out before 10:00 a.m. Variations on forementioned times should be negotiated in advance by phone or by email. Leaving your luggage before check-in time is always negotiable.

Article 10: During the day it is allowed for a tennant to receive company, but no more than two visitors and always in consultance with the owner. When having company the tennant is always responsible for the guest areas. Parties and celebrations are, with the possible exception, not allowed. The tennant is not allowed to have guests stay for the night. Should this be the case, it is for the owner to decide if extra costs should be passed on to the tennant.

Article 11: There is no breakfast served at BnB De Mast. Tennant is informed about this.

Article 12: The tennant is allowed to join the owner for a visit to the stables and the machine storage. If not in the company of the owner it is not allowed for the tennant to be on company’s grounds.

Article 13: The owner is not liable for any damage or personal injury of the tennant during a stay at De Mast.

Article 14: 'Oskam Dairy' is our business with milking cows. This comes with a certain amount of activity on our terrains and company.

We are Floor Oskam and Jeannette van der Sluijs. We are pleased to welcome you as a guest in the completely independent half of the front part of our old farm. You can find The Mast via Maps on Marsdijk 3 in Bunnik. The house has all the comforts and we can provide you with all the necessary information about the region and sights. Our neighbors sell local products in their country shops and bakery/restaurant Vroeg is also within walking distance. Our cultural neighbors are the Fort Vechten, part of the Dutch Water Line and the Roman Limes. Both part of a World Heritage Site. The forest of Nieuw-Wulven is also nearby. Golf course Amelisweerd is also at your fingertips. Furthermore, the city of Utrecht is a few km away, nearby; so enjoy the canals or shopping, visit a theater or another city activity. It's all possible! The farm is a family-run business. Floor's grandpa molk on De Mast al cows. Floor's father, Jan Oskam, has continued the business and at one point Floor has joined forces with his father. Jeannette and Floor have been living together for several years. Jeannette helps with the farm and continues to work as a biology teacher at a secondary school. A new generation of farmers is already serving themselves; the two sons of Floor may succeed their father. Our animals are located in the other buildings behind the old farmhouse. At our dairy farm Oskam Melkvee we milk 120 cows and also have about that number of young cattle. Furthermore, the dog, a number of cats, our chickens and two Frisian horses complete our beast. The land that belongs to the company is around the farm. There is always activity!
