What a great experience to have stayed on a yacht while in venice! The staff accommodated our needs to the fullest while being extremely polite, and I almost forgot about the nice breakfast! Well done... I would definitely recommend this booking
Our 1 night stay on the boat was an interesting & unusual experience! The porthole view of Venice was very cool, the free breakfast was quite delicious & impressive, & the views from the decks were amazing. The room & private bathroom are indeed tiny, so just be prepared, the cost is excellent for Venice though. My friend found the room quite hot at night & had trouble sleeping, though I was closer to the window so I didn't realize there was an issue, I guess the air didn't circulate much. Just 1 rather important hiccup to mention: our first night, after we'd already checked in & dropped off our luggage, we were given a key to our room along with 1 other key. We were excited to get out & explore Venice, so didn't think to ask what the other key was for. Well, late that night, (after midnight sometime), we returned to the boat to find the main doors to where the cabins are, locked. That must be what the 2nd key was for, we figured, but no matter how many ways we tried, neither of the keys we were given would open the main door. A storm was rolling in & our phones were dead, so we were mildly concerned. There's a bell outside the main door though, so we rang it & eventually another set of guests came up & let us in. When I told the host in the morning about the key problem, she was very apologetic & surprised, so everything worked out in the end. I'd just recommend making sure to ask questions about how things work on the boat & to test your key, before you go out. We weren't given much info & didn't think to ask some pertinent questions ourselves. If you're adventurous, this is still a fun place to stay for a day or so.
Venice, solely on boat! :)
We had beautiful dreams on the slightly wavering sea...
What a great experience staying on a boat and breakfast in Venice! This boat was great! Sarah was very helpful and so nice. We were only in Venice for 24 hours and this place was perfect! The room is small with two bunk beds and a bathroom that is also a shower. It is very clean. The boat just rocks you to sleep. The location of the boat was great and easy to get to by water taxi. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect end to our stay! If ever in Venice again we would enjoy another stay. Thanks so much!!
Was a neat experience. The location was very convenient to the parking area, room was nice, and the service from the staff was AMAZING!!! They were so friendly and polite.
Venice on a boat! It made up for not being very close to any shops or restaurants. It was close to a vaporetto stop that would take you to the mainland and there was a little deli shop a few blocks away.
The breakfasts were very good. Nelli was helpful, letting us know where things were.
I only spent one night on Sarah Cruise but it was fantastic. This was my first time in Venice and Ms Nelli, who looks after guests during their stay, made everything run smoothly and was very helpful throughout my entire stay. The yacht is moored on a small island called 'Sacca Fisola', which is quiet, safe and mostly residential. It is very, very easily reached by water bus and I preferred living away from the main island and the crowds bt St Mark's. I saw other tourists dragging their luggage through the tiny little streets of Venice to reach their hotels and was thankful that Sarah Cruise was only 100m from the water bus stop. Very easy to reach even if you don't speak or read any Italian. The rooms are small, but clean and the breakfast spread is sumptuous. I didn't make use of the deck, but it seemed comfortable and would be a great way to work on your tan. Would definitely recommend and have already done so to my friends and family!
