The space

Our vacation villa not only offers enough space for up to 7 people, but is also an excellent starting point for exploring the island.
Have you always wanted to snorkel with turtles in coral gardens, master a volcano climb through the jungle or visit the numerous sights in a relaxed way? This magical island with its natural beauty and hospitable people offers many attractive opportunities to spend your free time actively.
Important remark: If you are a single traveler or a couple (for example honeymooners) please send us a request for special discounts and we will send you an offer if it´s possible for your requested time.
The villa consists of 3 units:
2 topnotch suites with pool/sea view and en-suite generous bathrooms. Ideal for a couple each.
An additional 3rd deluxe room with up to 3 single beds can be booked separately. The bathroom is either connected with the 2nd Suite or your can use the guestbath room just next door.
Besides the ArtVilla has a fully equipped kitchen facility with gas stove to cook light meals or breakfast if you like. There is a fridge/freezer to keep you beer and wine cold. Other appliances are available.
In the centre of the living area is a bar counter with 4 bar stools where you can sip a drink, work on your lap top or just enjoy the view to the terrace, pool and sea.
ON REQUEST: We offer also Cignal Sat TV with a choice of channels you can choose from in case of a rainy or lazy day.
Please be aware, even the ArtVilla is located on a massive cliff directly next to the sea there is NO direct access to the water.
For a nice & safe swim we recommend to go (by motorbike, tricycle or car) to the next beaches of Yumbing and Agoho (just 5-10min away). Also longer beach walks can be done on these locations.
🏡We would like to reiterate that the villa is NOT suitable for small children between 2-6 years old and therefore we do not recommend bookings with children for safety reasons.
Also, the maximum occupancy of 7 people must not be exceeded!
Parties of any kind will not be tolerated, please be considerate of the neighbors!
Guest access
🛎️Upon your arrival the host or the assigned staff will show you the house and its functions.
PLEASE NOTE:
In case you will visit us as a single traveller or couple, our basic price is good for ONE Seaview-Suite only!
But the other ArtVillas facilities, like living room/kitchen, terrace, pool, guest CR are exclusively for these guests.
Also in case only 3-4 persons book the ArtVilla we will close the 3rd ARTelier Deluxe Room. You are free to book this room on additional cost.
The Swimming-pool is exclusive to our ArtVilla guests. In order to keep the pool tidy we regularly start the pump some hours during the day and the maintenance guy will clean the pool too. That is necessary and cooperation is well appreciated.
Chemical treatment (Chlorine) will be used. We ask you kindly not to open or remove the floating device and be careful to use the pool in the dark and switch off the pool light during the night. The use of the pool is on your own risk.
To keep the property of the ArtVilla as well-maintained as possible, our staff regularly needs access to the grounds (pump room, garden, pool area, etc.).
However, we value your privacy and will coordinate with you to schedule these visits at a convenient time.
There are some 'staff only' areas marked, for example the storage room next to the kitchen which is only available for our housekeeping. The same for pump rooms, laundry areas etc.

Camiguin is a very small, authentic island and not yet overrun by mass tourism. The infrastructure is satisfactory and offers generally a very good security for Asia.
Various shopping facilities (from supermarket to local market with fruit, vegetables, fish, etc.) can be reached by vehicle within 5-15 minutes.
Several banks with ATMs, a small hospital and pharmacies are located in the town of Mambajao (about 8km) away.
The airport is also located there. Two other ferry ports (connections to Mindanao and Bohol) are on the island (ports of Balbagon & Benoni). Please check the current conditions, times and prices on the internet.

Tongatok Cliff is located on the very edge of the tourist area of Camiguin and currently does NOT receive signals for Globe or Smart mobile providers there. For this, you will have to allow about 5min drive time to Yumbing.
However, the villa has good internet, so you can communicate cheaply via Messenger services of all kinds.
The power supply is comparably very expensive and there can always be short term power outages.
Since we not only strive to leave as little eco-logical 'footprints' as possible at ArtVilla and don't want to bridge small power outages with a noisy diesel generator, we have invested in an expensive solar system that serves as a power back-up.
In the event of a local total power outage, our system can cover the basics (such as Starlink Satellite Wifi, lights, ceiling fans and the refrigerator, but not air conditioning & hot water heaters).
