The Beehouse is a beautifully presented three bedroom holiday house located just a short drive from the historic burgh of St Andrews, famous for its world class golf courses and stunning beaches.
The Beehouse is a beautifully converted former steading building which is now a holiday house located a 10 minute drive from St Andrews, Scotland; the Home of Golf. The Beehouse has 3 spacious double bedrooms with Kingsize double beds that can also be made up as twin single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, (2 ensuite & 1 adjoining). The kitchen, dining & living room are open plan and enjoy breathtaking views across local rural countryside & woodland. There is a; toasty warm woodburning stove and a stunning picture window one end of the room. A very peaceful getaway, ideal for families, couples or a group of friends/golfers alike.
Outside, enjoy your own garden area with a lovely York stone paved area for the warmer days. For the rainier days there is an indoor/outdoor covered space in which to play under shelter. The Beehouse is adjacent to the owners’ family home, Dairsie Manse.
The Beehouse has been built with energy conservation in mind; as well as using a very high grade insulation products, we have also installed an air-source heat pump which powers the hot water and under floor heating, and an air circulation heat exchanger to keep the house fresh and minimise heat loss. Solar panels have been installed on the roof adjacent to the house.
The Beehouse is to be treated as a home from home. The only non negotiable is that there must be no smoking
The Beehouse – nice and clean, cosy, comfortable, with a soul, stunnig views, freedom, silence.
