This property is located on one of the main roads of Taos, less than a 5 minute scenic walk from the Historic Taos Plaza. Formerly a commercial building, this residence has been converted into several apartments, one of which I live in. It is situated with plenty of parking (incl. RV), a wonderful huge willow tree and labyrinth in the back yard, and so convenient to everything Taos offers.
Space for rent includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, plus living/kitchen (about 900 sq. ft). Beds include Queen, 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4), plus a Queen Sofa bed. Kitchen includes stove, sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven. Bath includes a sink, toilet, and shower.
WiFi is included as well as Direct TV in the living room.
The Taos Chili Line public transit stops close by. For winter months, the shuttle bus to the Taos Ski Valley picks up less than a 5 minute walk away. Kit Carson Park can be entered from the end of Roberts Lane, directly behind the ball fields, for easy access to the many festivals held there each year.
Many fabulous Taos restraurants are within walking distance as well as the venues for live music each night. The walk to the plaza takes you up Kit Carson Road past many of the art galleries for which Taos is famous.

My brother and I stayed with Diane for a week trip to Taos mid-January 2015. Taos was awesome, the slopes were gorgeous and challenging, and Diane was a phenomenal host. She was more friendly, accommodating, and helpful than I would've ever expected: even helping us when we went full retard and got stuck on an icy dirt road in the middle of the biggest snowfall of the week.
The 2br/1ba unit was just as great at exceeding expectations; and could've comfortably housed more than just the two of us. During our stay we had no issues with anything in the unit, but Diane was always in touch and made us feel confident that if anything were to need attention she would've been easy to reach and quick to address the issue.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this listing and plan to stay with Diane again on my next trip to Taos.
The location was awesome, within walking distance to the plaza where you can visit tons of eclectic shops and galleries. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and when you look across the street there are the mountains. Her backyard was incredible with one of the largest willow trees I have ever seen. We would definitely visit and stay again.
This place was perfect! My husband and I wanted a weekend away together, and Diane's place was just fantastic. It was spic and span, incredibly cozy and comfortable. She had very considerately placed information on the little table about her own preferences in and around Taos, such as places to eat and places to go. It is very close to the plaza, easy to walk to everything, but what we liked the most was that it was enough out of the way to be very quiet and private! Will definitely stay there again. Thanks Diane!
The apartment is small, but functional. The best thing about this apartment is its location, which includes a short walk to a local park and all the downtown shoppes and restaurants.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
