The house is only 15min walk from Kyoto st. It’s near Kamo River with great bike/walk trails. Fushimi Inari Taisha is about 20 min walk or 10 min bike ride. Free bikes available, heated floors, well-equipped kitchen. Spacious main bedroom with a double bed in 2nd floor. Small second bedroom with a small bed in 1st floor.
It's cozy for 2 people as you can share the double bed, or sleep separately in the double bed and the small bed. It can be a little tight for group of 3. But good value for 3:)

The space
The house is quiet and fully detached which means there are no joining walls with neighbors.

The main bedroom is on the second floor and has a comfortable double bed with high quality linen. There is also a mounted TV so you comfortably watch it in bed. There is also a work space that has a big desk and office chair. Furthermore there is Air-conditioning and heating + heated floors on both levels for a cozier winter. :)

High speed fiber optic internet is available throughout the house (unlimited download).

On the first floor there is a small bedroom with a single bed (please note: the bed is suitable for someone under 180cm tall).
The first floor has a well-equipped kitchen with IH cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, kitchen table/chairs, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes etc.
The bathroom has a shower with high pressure hot water, a bath, and vanity unit. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels are supplied. If you need more towels during your stay please let me know.

Bicycles are available for free, up to 3 bicycles for guests(only for adults).

Baggage storage is possible in some cases, please ask your host in advance.

A security camera is installed at the entrance porch and is in operation during your stay, installed in accordance with the requirements of the Kyoto City Hotel Business Law.

Because the house is officially licensed with Kyoto City Government and accordance with Japan Hotel law, I am required to collect all my guest's ID (passport). I will ask you to send them in advance as your stay gets closer.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire house to themselves.

Other things to note
Japan's hotel regulation law (section 6, amended in 2005) states that all hotels and lodgings are required to store the guest’s name and address for 3 years in Kyoto. Guests who are non-residents of Japan are required to submit an image of their passport page.

This regulation was made with the intention of locating guests in the case of security problems or for public health measures.

I’m going to contact you again as your booking gets closer for this as well.
I really appreciate your understanding.

Where you’ll be

Kyoto, Kyōto Prefecture, Japan

Nearby local shrine Uga jinjya is lovely place to visit. Old trees and even cherry blossum trees in spring. It's very peaceful and beautiful especially at evening with lights.
Kyoto is a great place for riding, lots of bike tracks. There are some spectacular shrines and temples nearby, such as Fushimi Inari Shrine and Tofukuji Temple.
Fushimi Inari Shrine is the #1 tourist attraction in Kyoto. It is famous for the thousands of red "torii" gates that wind up the mountainside. You can visit just the lower area, or you can climb to the top which takes about 40min and can be challenging, but worth it!
Tofukuji Temple is just the other side of the river. It is a huge temple complex, and is particular beautiful in November during autumn leaves.
There are many local restaurants nearby.
There are several convenience stores nearby open 24/7.
